I'm very picky and interviewed four roofers referred by my uncle who is a local building inspector and was very pleased with the responsiveness, cleanliness, and follow through for this job. The crew was great, even my tenant who can be a nit picker had nothing negative to say. I hate nothing more when a contractor tells you one thing or promises you the world and doesn't perform I thankfully did not have this problem. Tim did everything he told me he would and that can be rare.

Within two and a half days, I had a new, fantastic looking roof done by the Alarcon Roofing workers. Tim, the contractor, was easy to work with and always returned my calls and emails. You can't believe the price is so affordable with their nice workmanship. Look at the pictures yourself!

my roof was leaking (it was still under the period of Alarcon Roofing's guarantee period). so i called Tim several times about the urgency of repair. he promised to call me back but never received his call back. i ended up calling someone to help me. very disappointed.

Tim Alarcon and his crew are the best. I had them put a new roof on my Redwood City house and garage. Tim had the job completed in one week from initial bid to final inspection. He uses a his regular crew not casual laborers. His crew includes a roofing dog named Tom. It's fascinating to see him on the roof. They are quiet, fast, efficient and capable. The work site is always thoroughly cleaned after the work day ends. Tim's bids are very reasonable and he is willing to work with his clients in order to satisfy their needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alarcon Roofing to anyone. I'm extremely satisfied with their work.

A leaky roof is not fun. I need to replace a wood shingle roof . I did get three bids and Tim's bid was the best overall(reasonable and itemized written bid) He also came recommended from a neighbor.
It took a little effort for Alarcon Roofing to get going. Once they did, they were fast and thorough. The roof was done is 3 days. They also cleaned up after themselves.

Alarcon Roffing also does tar roofs and composites and probably any other materials. They are licensed and having been around at least 20 years.
