I had an issue with my wrap around large deck due to the rain for many years. I tried to get bids to replace it from different local Santa Cruz roofers for several weeks and many won't even bother to come and give a quote. I finally got a couple, the one from Alameda roofing was more expensive but more thorough and detailed. Thy stuck with their quote but I decided to use them and I am glad I did. They did such a great and thorough job, explained everything, took so many pictures to document the work, and finished in time after cleaning and hauling out all debris. They credited me with a large amount as they did not need to replace any underlying stucco which was included in the quote. They are family owned and were very responsive to my schedule when we scheduled the work. I would highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about Alameda Roofing. We recently had them replace our old farmhouse roof, down to the skeleton, and everything about the project was positive. Their bid was reasonable and they stuck to it, their crew was timely and professional and you could tell they worked well together as a team. Linda and Dennis answered emails and phonecalls promptly, responded all my questions, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, even down to having the team do a couple of extra things. It was obvious they cared about this job and our home, and wanted our business again. They even stuck with us as we asked for bids a few years in a row, and added some patches until we could afford the whole job. Furthermore, another roof they put on for us on another section of the building is still going strong, and I'm pretty sure it's past its expiration date. If I could give more stars, I would!

We can't say enough positive about Alameda Roofing. They are a local, family owned business and provide great customer service. We had them reroof our Aptos house and are very happy with the results. We felt their bid was competitive, but better than a fair price is their friendly, customer-oriented attitude. They answer their phone, they return calls and emails promptly, and they do what they say...all very rare qualities in service providers these days. We would recommend them without hesitation. If you need a new roof or a roof repair, you can't go wrong with these guys!

Last year after a series of bad storms my 20 year old roof finally had it's time, so I got in touch with a series of roofers for a price Alameda's Roofing was the only one who called me back . Unfortunately they were so backed up I couldn't get it done that time , but they assured me that the patch work I had done was good enough to get me through the winter month's and they were right it did. Well they recently came and got my roof replaced and I was very satisfied with their work and how they cleaned the mess created by tearing off the old roof. So I highly recommend them to anyone looking for roof repairs.
