It's been raining quite a bit in Kaimuki. My garage and back unit was getting flooded. I love to save water in barrels and I was losing a lot. Who you gonna call? Yelp....and Yelp to the Rescue.

I sent out a couple of request for quotes and Nick of AL Roofing got back to me really quick. He messaged me to come over and give me an estimate. He quickly measured my roof space and provided a work plan. I felt the price was fair. He was able to schedule within a week's time.

The guys came on time and were very professional. They had a cool machine that custom cuts gutters from a roll of stock. Within half a day they had installed my gutters. I inspected the area and asked for certain tweaks. They were back again to complete the task.

I truly recommend you give Nick a call to give you an estimate.

Looking for a rain gutter company and unfortunately fell upon this one via Yelp. Two stars was given only because Nick (worker/evaluator) actually took the time to come out to my place, otherwise would've been a one star. He spent literally 1 min talking with me, took a measurement and said I'll email you the quote. It's now been 3 days since. I've texted him kindly reminding him about the no email, thinking I may have sent the wrong email... Nothing. I sent one more follow-up text and still nothing. No response, no explanation, nothing... I wouldn't recommend this company purely because of the lack of communication. No professionalism at all. I'm guessing my job was too small for there time. It's probably a good thing.

My parents had a leak at their residence. I provided them with the numbers of several roofing companies I found on Yelp, including AL Roofing. My parents called, and sent pics. The rep they spoke with indicated that they were busy but they would call back the next day. No one called back and my parents moved on.

12/25/2019: maybe if you spend less time writing responses to negative yelp reviews in which you imply that the reviewer is lying, you would have time to actually return calls. Just a thought.

I needed my roof replaced prior to getting solar installed in the next 3 weeks. Nick texted me back within an hour after I called and left a message and set up a home visit. He had an estimate to me in a few days and had the roof done within 2 weeks after I first contacted him.

Anyone who responds that quickly and then shows up on time is already ahead of the game here in HI. I also contacted 2 other companies, one of whom came out and assessed the roof but then didn't get back to me with an estimate until Nick was already done with my roof.

He kept in contact with me frequently throughout the process, sent photos of the work as it was happening and when it was complete. If I didn't have photos to prove they had been there, I would not have known construction happened on my roof as they cleaned up so well.
The whole process was so easy and I will be contacting them in the future when it is time to replace my gutters.

Nick you Scrub!!!! Came out to my property for an estimate and never responded. Picking and choosing what jobs he wants to do. Why even bother to waste my time acting like you wanted to do the job.

Reached out in the beginning of Aug via phone. No response. Texted. No response. Called later in the month and they ""scheduled"" measurements. Almost certain the guy didn't come and they lied about it; little did they know I've Ring Cameras set up so it definitely would have caught...and yes I looked... Then they said they'll go over measurements (that I'm pretty sure they didn't take) and get back to me ASAP, but I haven't received a response. Basically unreliable...

Because my landscaping project segued into a potential rain gutter issue (not enough down spouts) I've been searching Yelp for rain gutter companies. AL Roofing & Rain Gutters came with 37 reviews and 4-1/2 stars, more than enough of a recommendation for me to given them a call.

Professional on the phone and when scheduling the appointment, their estimator, Nick called me when he was a few minutes out to let me know he was coming.

Just finished talking to Nick about my situation. To my surprise he recommended a completely different course of action. Rather than just agreeing to quote down spouts that might not fix the problem, Nick suggested checking with a plumber about snaking the existing down spouts. It resulted in no new business for him this time but I was very impressed by his integrity and home maintenance being what it is, I know soo we or later I will have a reason to need a roofing or rain gutter company. I know who'll be at the top of my list to call.

We are extremely pleased with the top notch job that AL Roofing and RainGutters Company did on the removal of our old roofing and installed new roof shingles. We felt very comfortable with the entire working crew which we considered incredible The workers were Erwin, Project Manager, Adrian, Jr., Darwin, and two other workers (So sorry that we did not get their names and we feel that they should also received the recognition). They all did an excellent job and worked so hard continuously. They seemed to really take pride and do beyond their best to make their customers totally satisfied. Every little thing was done exactly as it should be and they did not waste any time. They stripped off our old existing roof and disposed of it in their huge dump truck. This is the kind of people you want working on your house.

Erwin and his working crew are described as powerful and a respectful team. They took less than 2 days to complete the awesome roofing job.

We would be excited to recommend AL Roofing Raingutter to our families, relatives, friends, co-workers, etc in case they would need to have their home to get new roofing installed.
