They told my insurance company that instead replace my roof they can make reparations for $2,800. For that reason my insurance company deny mi claim.
The job was done horrible. For example, instead of replace a wood that was damaged by the water, they just cover the hole with a lithe piece of plywood. They did not replace the broken tile.
As a result, the water has came again by the same place after the last storm.

We had recently contacted AKG for a roof replacement service. They were polite attentive and gave us an appointment the next day to give us a free estimate. Alex the estimator was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of information about the roof proposal. We were told
About the 10-12 week lead time to start the project and the project was started at about 13 weeks. Many other roofers in the industry had given us lead times of up to 6 months. It has since been a few weeks since akg has completed the job and after tropical storm on Labor Day has passed we have not had one leak. It is safe to say that AKG did the job they were supposed to. I am very happy we chose this family business to do our job

I signed a contract with this company on 1/22/18 and gave them a deposit on 1/25/18 so they can replace my roof that was damaged by Hurricane Irma. I was told that they would start the work in 2 weeks as soon as the permits were approved.

The permits were approved on the 2nd week of February and we are now on the 2nd week of June and no work has been done on my roof.

For the past 5 months have been calling and emailing them and every time Gabriella or Lidice answer the phone they give me an excuse on why my roof cannot be started. They say they are behind on other jobs and I have to wait two weeks. Those 2 weeks have turned into 5 months and now hurricane season has started and I'm still with a tarp on my roof from the previous hurricane.

It's sad to see Contractors that take advantage of people after a natural disaster. Think twice before hiring this company. Their customer service is horrible and if the start and end date is not listed on the contract then don't sign it.

I was rented at a house that had ""passed"" the house inspection but had major plumbing issues; leaky pipes, low water pressure, etc... We immediately started looking to move out and considering an inspection company that will actually do their job and not the one the realtor recommended. A friend of mine told me about AKG, I found them on yelp and gave them a call. The experience from beginning to end was great. The inspection was thorough, Hector and Alex are very detailed oriented. They found minor electrical problems the house had with the potential of turning into something bigger. They solved the issue at an initial stage saving me time and money. So far I've been living on my house for two years and had 0 problems. Very impressed with their work- they are true professionals. I highly recommended them.

AKG roofers was highly recommended for my reroof. Unfortunately, I can't pass on the same kudos. Since my re-roof There have been multiple leaks on the flat areas. AKGs response was to advise me there is no leak only horizontal rain. The worse part was after Irma, and 3 sprung leaks ... they informed me they were not responsible and my warranty was no longer valid. The quote to fix their roof came in 2X higher then other reputable roofers. 2xs higher quote to remedy the problems caused by their improper installation. My roof had over driven nails along with improperly installed flashing. Stay away from AKG. If you have problems, they will not stand by their work.

AKG was recommended to me by my realtor for the inspection of my potential new home. The inspector, Alex, maintained great communication throughout the whole process. He had to go back a second time to for a brief moment to inspect an electrical box that was updated by the owners and did it on his own time on a weekend. I greatly appreciate his services. As great as you can get. This company was super professional right from the first phone call. Customer service was outstanding. The Inspectors called before they arrived and arrived on time which is rare these days. I had a professional report in less then 24 hours. They came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. I would recommend anyone to use this company and save tons of time. By the way, the report was amazing, any issues they also provided an approx cost and company who would repair it. OUTSTANDING

They inspected a 900 square foot apt for me recently. They claimed that the dishwasher was in fair condition. I moved in the next month and had to replace the unit immediately as it did not run a full cycle. It cost me $550. We also inadvertently paid them twice for the inspection report. When we asked for a refund, they said that they only received one payment. We had to send them proof of both payments being deducted from our bank account. Still no refund. Our realtor ended up refunding the double payment.

AKG is a great company. Very knowledgeable and efficient. Very good detailed reports with estimates of repairs for my clients. They deliver the report the very next day. I will be using them for all my inspections.
