Akamai Roofing did a wonderful job of repairing my leaking roof after the big storm we had this past weekend! Glehn and his crew stopped by this past Wednesday and removed six of my photovoltaic panels to get to the leak and they patched my roof with new roofing materials. Not only were they hard working and considerate, but they all three took the time to make sure the repair was done right! Jose you have a great crew, and a great company. You truly are Hawaii's number 1 Roofing company. Oh by the way the amount charged was very, very reasonable!

These guys are first class. They took the time to listen to the problem and performed a water test to diagnose. Instead of telling me that I needed a new roof, they took the time to find it was an upper set of windows that needed to be sealed. They will be THE FIRST ONES I call when my roof actually needs service. Thanks Jon. Your honesty has won a future customer!

Akamai Roofing is not Akamai, they should be called ""Lolo"" Roofers.
I am a tenant in a house that Akamai worked on.
They did not bother to let us know that a lot of debris would be coming down from the roof, and we should close our windows. It was dirty stuff, black dirt that rained down and into two rooms And a bathroom.

We needed two 27ft runs of continuous gutters to be tied into an existing gutter. I called around and all the roofing/gutter companies considered it too small a job but Akamai Roofing graciously sent Jon out to provide a reasonable estimate. 2 days later Jon and Ken arrived early, cheerfully explained what they would be doing and got to work.

They replaced the two downspouts, installed a drip guard on one side of the roof because the overhang wasn't extended enough, and on the other side where the new roofline extended further than the old, they made a short ""jog"" to connect the old gutter with the new (see photo). I'll definitely use them again for my roofing and gutter needs.

Akamai roofing and rain gutters were awesome! I recently installed 250+ feet of rain gutters at my property. They measured one day and asked me to pick the color, gave me the quote the next day, told me when they were coming to do the work, then when I came home that day all the gutters were done. Also, I was able to pay with credit card and get all the miles/points! Not all businesses allow you to pay by card. They followed up a week later to ask if I was satisfied with the work and I can't be more happy! Service was excellent!

I was debating to roll silicone patch or install new roof on my house. After meeting with the guys from Akamai Roofing I felt confident about going with new roof. I'm totally glad I did. I wasn't at home when the new roof was installed but when I came home I had a big smile on my face. These guys brought an army of guys and banged out my 9 bedroom home in one full day. They even took off my old solar water panels and put them back on. Came home took hot shower and was like proud of myself for making a good decision. Can't say enough for a company that delivered on their word and took care of everything. I just came home to new roof and no problems.

Didn't even need to relocate my renters living on property. 5 stars ! I feel obligated to stand in line and buy them some Leonard's malasadas as a thank you.

If there ever was negative stars to give I would!!! After scheduling our first consulting appointment 2 weeks ago, last Wednesday, July 3rd, they were initially scheduled to take a look at our roof to provide an estimate. The day before that, they decided to reschedule for last Friday the 5th. As of today, Monday the 8th, no courtesy call, nothing at all. Sadly, they were recommended by our good friend who's in also in the same industry. So unfortunate! No positive recommendation from here except if you have the time to keep nagging them and hope they'll live up to their word and your positive expectation, then I say, go for it! I know we won't be recommending them to any of our family or friends!
