My home was damaged by the tornado that hit Pasadena! I was left without a fence, a damaged roof and shed. Charles Stump took care of me and provided me with all the reassurance that my family and my home were going to be taken care of. Charles cares about his clients, and never makes promises he cannot keep. AGS has done great work so far, and I'm glad I have their team working on my home through this hard time.

Quentin Blanchard, AGS Roofing and Remodeling, did an exceptional job rebuilding our kitchen after the Houston's February freeze, when we had several broken pipes. After our insurance company offered us a low-ball settlement, Quentin worked with a public adjuster to successfully get us FOUR times more settlement money to fully cover our extensive damage. Quentin also did an amazing job of delivering a beautiful new kitchen at a time when it was almost impossible to find competent workmen, immediately after the city-wide catastrophe. We are especially pleased with our new custom cabinetry which increased our storage space and looks gorgeous. In addition to carpentry and painting, Quentin's crew installed new sheetrock, electrical work, and plumbing.

UPDATE! 10/31/17

It's been only a year and my roof is leaking! I called another roofing company and turns out that my skylight and chimney NEVER had flashing on them!! These fools clearly didn't know the process nor did the guys that came to say my roof was ""completed"". They cut corners at the customer's expense and have never left me with a secure feeling that my roof is completely installed. I'm updating this because I have a feeling that these crooks are scum out again trying to scam Harvey victims!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

My wife and I had them replace our roof. Well, the day workers that they hired to do the job...
Don't be fooled by the polo shirts that they custom ordered to give the perception that they are a ""company"". These guys are certainly not. They're just talkers and know how much time and energy to spend to win your contract. After that, its up to you to do the rest of THEIR job...

We made that mistake and hope you learn from our experience. From claims of BBB's A+ ratings (unreliable) & Angie's List (paying members only) to a reliable crew, it was nothing close to what was promised...just diminishing service.

Problems encountered:

- Lack of a concrete schedule:
After paying them, I asked for the job to start on a weekday because my weekends were already booked. I was scheduled for Monday, then got pushed to a Wednesday due to upcoming rain in the forecast. A few days BEFORE the job started (Friday), my contact called and pressured me into freeing up that weekend (Saturday & Sunday) because a job freed up and with Autumn right around the corner they did not know how far back the jobs would be pushed back if I didn't allow them to do the job.

- Lack of communication:
The crew was supposed to show up between 8-9am, they didn't. They showed up between 1-3pm. The contact and the owner/project manager of the company (Quentin) didn't even know the status of the crew until I called to complain!

- Unprofessional:
The crew they sent never told me (well they didn't even speak english) when they were done for the day. All 3 nights, I had to step outside to see whether they're leaving or not and when were they coming back. They used my backyard as their tool storage, which is fine...but at least let me know! Especially if you wake up to somebody with a flashlight in your backyard around 5AM looking for tools for another job!!

- Broken promises: Because of all the rescheduling, my boss was pretty frustrated with my constant reschedule. These guys promised to finish by a certain date and was 2 days off! Why? Simply because when the job was 85% complete they end up sending ONE guy for the last 15%...which ended up taking more of my time off...

In conclusion, don't go with these jokers. They are thieves and liars that hire day workers to complete the job. Oh ya...and they can't even communicate to their workers because most of the roofers speak Spanish!

John and his company are highly reputable and quick to respond whenever you need information or assistance with roofing problems at your commercial site or residence.

They did a bath remodel for Lowes and the workmanship was terrible. Nothing but trouble.

We just had our roof done by AGS and as we do not know anything about roofs, we have a lot of trust in AGS. We have used them before in painting and replacing our ceiling in the kitchen.
Our roof looks great!! The workers came in as we were told by the contractor (Quentin) and were done in a day and 1/2. Both times they cleaned up when they were done. Quentin came back for a final inspection making sure we were pleased with the work. I highly recommend this company!
