As a contractor it's very hard to find good reliable subs. This is a great company that has been in business long time. The owners are a true class act, I would highly recommend Affordable Roofing to anyone.

I received a number of roofing quotes but went with Affordable Roofing based on the Salesman Dan's promises to repair some bad wood near the pool cage and deliver a professional replacement roof. After the job was completed, Dan then said his company couldn't replace the wood because it was too close to the pool cage. I said you told me it would not be a problem- just trim work. Now it can't be done.
Second issue - Right in the front of the house there is a gap of 4-5 inches where the stucco meets the roof. I emailed a pic to Affordable and was told they don't do stucco so I need to call someone else! Dan had said ""The roof will look great when done. You won't even notice the gaps. We'll clean those up"" We also had communication problems during installation. The crew that showed up said they didn't work for Affordable. None of the four workers could communicate in English. Supposedly, there was a crew supervisor. He was here for less than 30 minutes through the four day project.
Lot's of promises - little delivered. Pay a little extra for a more professional company. You won't be sorry.

Stay away from Affordable Roofing Systems. They are not reliable and trustworthy. Made the big mistake to pay them when most of the work was done...They never completed the job. Management was ruthless and not ethical. No attempt to make this right.

They replaced our roof in August and we had to have them come back several times for clean up and items they missed. We made our payment and they assured us they'd be back the next week to clean up the tar all over our siding of our home and they have not come back. I have repeatedly called and left messages to no avail. This has been so frustrating and a waste of my time trying to get them to do their job.

We had our residential roof repaired about two years ago. Although the major area was repaired successfully, they did not fix a small leak above the master bedroom after it was pointed out to them. They came back about a month later after a large water spot continued in the ceiling, and said they repaired it. They did not, and now the spot has become a mold area. I called them after Hurricane Irma, the receptionist said as a prior customer we would get a call within 10 days to arrange repairs. After 21 days and no call, I called them and was told by the same person that it would be 3 to 4 months before they could send someone out. I have since contacted another roofing company, and within two days, they repaired the leak in less than 30 minutes. I would NOT recommend this company.

We set up an appointment with this company 2 weeks prior. The morning of the appointment I called the office to confirm. Nobody ever showed up. No call after. They don't seem dependable or care. Thanks for wasting my time.

What a great organization. They put my new roof on under duress of my mentally ill next door neighbor who caused more problems than imaginable. The office staff and supervisor handled her with such grace. I felt so badly for the roofers who were only doing their job while she kept taking photos of them. A horrible situation for all including me. The roof was put on perfectly and by such nice workers. They certainly earned their money on this one! The roof looks great too!

First of all only one worker on the job spoke English.
When he started shingling he went to 4 rows then spaced the next row at 1 1/2"".

I told him that was unacceptable and asked him to stop until his supervisor came out.
he argued with me saying it was correct because he had to ""make an adjustment to meet the line of the roof above the lower roof. Long story short he re-did it to my request after the Boss came out but even he said it was OK, But I had to point out that there was not another roof in the hood with shingles spaced like that and they all have a similar roofline. Then while they were drying in and removing the old roof it rained hard. But they continued to work instead of putting on the tarps. I had to beg them to put the tarps on. Too late the water damaged my ceilings. Next day same thing and I asked them to stop and put the tarps on when it started sprinkling. Again they said no and waited until it was pouring. Altogether I had more than 20 extreme water stains on my ceiling along with falling ceiling material. Then the Bosses son wanted to be paid in full before the repairs were done. I said you will be paid when it is repaired correctly. He said then they would put a lien on my house to which I laughed and said Go Ahead. Took their painter two visits to get it right and its still not perfect and I have stains coming back in the garage. I called and have had no response. Now besides that they were supposed to use a big rolling magnet to pick up nails. They did not until days later and after I and my woman had nails go through our shoes with mine piercing my foot. The back porch had not even been swept of tar paper scraps and I picked up at least twenty nails there and another 8 behind my car and in the garage. Then the roofers were supposed to put new metal flashing around 4 surfaces but did only 2 because they said they had already installed the roof where they were supposed to put the metal. All in all a terrible experience and I had to put up with Mr Jordan the son's bad attitude. I would never recommend these guys to anyone. Oh and I am still picking up nails after one of the supervisor supposedly rolled his magnet over the entire yard. I did not see him to it or see the nails he recovered which he stated ""was a lot"" Beware of this company and shoddy work and bad attitude.

so we just had Rex from Affordable Roofing Systems www.affordableroofingflorida.com come to my house as the tree trimmer I had advised me there were soft spots on my roof. . I requests an estimate on friday and was advised they would get back to me in 24 hours. With the weekend coming i expected that to be monday. saturday i got my call and today (sunday) he was looking at my roof. Rex could have taken me for a ride instead he was honest. He let me know there was a small spot on my roof that just needed a patch and had it done in under 5 minutes. He also let me know it would be a few years before I would have to have my roof done again. If you need someone that's going to be honest I would go with this company!!
