Affordable Roofing, a family-operated roofing business established in 1995, started by providing exceptional roofing solutions to the local area. The owners, deeply committed to their community, became active members of the local Chambers of Commerce, participating in various committees and supporting schools and non-profits. This commitment helped Affordable Roofing become the leading roofing company in South County.

Within a few years, Affordable Roofing achieved the status of Master Elite roofing contractor with GAF Material Corporation, the leading shingle manufacturer in the country, ranking it in the top 3% of roofing contractors across the nation.

Our dedication to customer service has been a cornerstone of our business and integral to our development. Through attentive listening to our customers, we recognized a prevalent concern: hot attics causing discomfort indoors, despite adequate attic ventilation. In response, we researched effective solutions and uncovered a new product: Low-E radiant barrier insulation. This radiant barrier became part of our product lineup, and we quickly attracted a loyal following. A few years later, radiant barriers became a requirement under California Title 24 regulations.

In 2003, the son of the owners completed his degree in Environmental Studies and Alternative Energy at San Jose State. He subsequently joined the solar sector, acquiring practical experience for several years.
