I had Affordable Roofing do our roof in 2015. Did a great job with the exception of backing into our garage door of which they apologized and offered to replace.

Its now time for new gutters so we called affordable to schedule a sales person to come out and also address a concern we have that the shingles do not overhang the edge of the house on the one side.
I asked for Paul who had treated us very well. We were told he is no longer there. I was also told they don't come out unless the roof is leaking. After I had explained 4 times why I needed for someone to come out the woman on the phone was very arrogant and ignorant. She accused me of drinking and hung up.
I drove over to their office, I had been there in 2015 and was greeted very nicely. This time I was approached by someone asking if I had a bill for him. I said no and started to explain my situation with his secretary who decided once again to show her ignorance and interrupt me. When I turned back around the boss he was gone and couldn't have cared less.

Evidently maybe this company was sold or cant keep employees. But I would stay far far away from affordable roofing. In after thought I am glad the women that answers their phone did me a favor by being an as_ hole. I got another company that did our gutters so Affordable Roofing just loss 4000. thanks to their poor business sense.

This company was fantastic. They started on the day they said they would and completed the project early. They were neat and clean and charged the quoted amount. Tops in my book!

Dishonest. Unprofessional. Discourteous. Disrespectful.
I specifically asked that if any plywood had to be replaced that I be notified and that a pic be taken and sent to me beforehand. Not being there to supervise I was not asking for too much and was fearful that this was a gimmick to ""pad"" the bill. I even had Mike write it into the contract. But, as expected, when the time came to pay the bill they charged for plywood replacement!! When I questioned Gary about it, he became defensive, began screaming at me and routinely dropped the "" F"" bomb. I was told that I was lucky they didn't charge for more- which indicates to me that they are scammers! Being a christian I was appalled and shocked at the language and unprofessionalism. I'm still not certain if plywood was replaced or not-but I do know that I paid for it. Just be forewarned. If you like being treated in a courteous and professional manner, I would suggest using someone else.

Very sketchy company. Very slow and removed gutters from my house and had the gall to say when they were finally done and i noticed that the gutters were not back on they said that my house never had gutters on it. Unbeivable......My management firm had to call them and inform them that it did they finally came back out and installed them. Big problem was a section of the gutters are flowing the wrong way.............back towards the house. Now they will not fix the problem... Very bad company....do not use.

Will never use again! Spent almost $25,000 with them for a new roof on 2 properties. We had purchased a dumpster to rehab one of the properties and they filled our dumpster with their roofing debris! They also left LOTS of nails in the yard and driveway and never came out to roll either with a magnet after multiple requests for them to do so. Our lawn care company had 2 flat tires from nails in addition to 2 other vehicles ending up with nails in their tires. Then to top it off, they would not accept a credit card for payment even though it said clear as day on the invoice that they accept credit card because they needed the cash that day to pay their workers. They were the cheapest estimate that we received but ended up costing us way more after tire repairs and another dumpster! Do not use!!!

I have never posted a complaint before on any social media platform but I feel the need to offer assistance to all those who are planning to replace or repair their roof, in hope you can avoid the disastrous experience we have endured with Affordable Roofing & Gutters.
My plan is not to list out all the extensive details of our experience but rather provide a brief synopsis and make myself available for any questions that may arise when selecting a roofing company.
Affordable Roofing & Gutters outsources all of their work to unqualified laborers who are incapable of performing a quality re-roof project. Through our 4 month process, from start to finish with Affordable Roofing, the re-roof failed the county inspections 3 separate times, our home suffered extensive water damage from leaks the company was unwilling to repair and a significant amount of damage to our driveway, lanai screen and pool equipment.
Unfortunately, the owner was not willing to address the damage to our property or the lack of quality workmanship performed by the unqualified outsourced laborers. However, they were prepared to take legal action and put a lien on our property to collect the final payment rather than resolving the outstanding issues.
As previously mentioned, I am willing to provide more details &/or answer any question but I urge you to AVOID Affordable Roofing otherwise you will more than likely experience their unethical business practices and be left with expensive damages you will be forced to absorb.

Affordable Roofing signed a contract with me but I had to wait 10 to 12 weeks for the work to start. In week 10 I called and was told it would be 2 more weeks. The Friday they said they would start the work no show no call. Next Monday the same thing. On Tuesday when my husband called Marilyn said they would not be able to start the work and offered us a refund of our deposit. My next conversation to accept the refund was with Denise who was extremely rude and nasty. She demanded a cancellation fee of $250.00 that was not spoke of in my contract. She threaten to not close the permit and then no one could open another one. I agreed to pay the $79.00 for the permit out of my deposit. When I received the deposit back it was minus the $250.00. She lied and cheated me. No work was performed and they made up fees not in our contract. I would give them no stars if I could.

Had this company do a roof for my company. Unfortunately these slobs left nails all over the parking lot in which numerous customers got in their tires. They would not offer to compensate us for this. Last time these guys get hired by anyone I know.

My husband and I did plenty of research before finally deciding to go with Affordable Roofing to get a re-roof done on our house. They were within a few hundred dollars of a pretty reputable company in Cape Coral, and they guaranteed 10 years, or they'll repair our roof, so we decided to go with them. Well, that's about where the pleasantries end. We never could get a date as to when they were going to be at our house. The rude (did I mention extremely RUDE??) receptionist only kept telling us a 'month' that they would be at our house--NOT helpful. AND not to mention they put a lien on our house!! We're in the middle refinancing our house, and we were dead in the water, because the company very quietly put a construction lien on our house. Shady much?!? Well, the guys finally get to our house, and seemed pretty nice, but none of them spoke English. Fine. Not extremely professional, as we are paying them about $10k for a job...I guess we didn't really NEED to ask questions, right?? Well, the guys show up the first day and start tearing off our old roof. Great. But there was absolutely no communication as to the process and what we should expect to happen each day (apparently day 1 is tear off, day two was a Sunday, so, ergo-nothing, Monday was waiting for the inspector to sign-off so they could proceed with re-roofing, and several days later, another inspection to completely sign-off on the project.) That's all well and good, but again, no one told us ANY of this! I ended up calling the site manager-Carl, which we didn't see hide nor hair of the entire project, and he apologized for the complete lack of communication, but it didn't get better. We didn't see Carl the entire project, so I'm not really sure how he's the 'site manager,' but I digress. After the guys get done, we write the final check, and get a copy of the lien release, and they disappear-no thank yous, no call us if you have any problems--they just disappear as quickly as they appeared to start the job. Well, that was Monday. It's now Sunday, and I've got to say I've never SEEN, nor STEPPED ON so many nails in my LIFE!!!!! We saw the guys bring a metal magnet roller-thing across the yard--fine, but they didn't use it enough. :( All I've got to say is it's a damn good thing I'm current on my Tetanus shots, because this week has been hell walking through our yard--even just walking to the trash can, I bring back at least 3 nails. And I haven't even mentioned all the cigarette butts and bits of roof and garbage left strewn-about our yard. I've got to say, for a $10k paycheck, Affordable Roofing could be a little more professional and courteous to the homeowners they're working for. I definitely think we're finding a new roofing company the next time we need to re-roof. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER! :(

They damaged my property and refused to come back and fix it. I talked to other previous customers of theirs and some also had damage done by ""affordable roofing"" where the company refused to go back and fix the damage they caused. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS.
