Had my roof replaced in the fall and had extra work done at Marty's suggestion. Work was done quickly and appeared to be done well. However, with the recent storms my roof leaked where I never had previously and Marty is nowhere to be found. His voicemail is full and he hasn't answered my missed calls or text. I wonder if he is still in business. Marty, if you read this, please call me.

We are new homeowners, and knew our roof was in need of replacement when we bought the house. We thought we could live with it for a year or two before replacing, however a big storm over Thanksgiving changed our minds. I received a flyer on my door for Affordable Roofing, and decided to call him along with others. Marty was professional, prompt in replies, and just a nice, honest guy. His quote was much lower than the other roofers, so we went with him. Our roof looks fantastic, and couldn't be happier. His crew was nice, courteous, and very professional. Not a nail was left behind. I highly recommend Affordable Roofing.

After i received his flier on my doorstep I contacted him and all seemed well. His initial response was to come to the house and give me an estimate.His initial estimate was very good and he seemed to know his business.But in further communication he always had an excuse to why he could not make it.And in my final communication he told me "" Don't you get it , I just don't want the fkg job !! I was shocked and gave him an expletive of my own. Note that it was him who came to me and I did not haggle about the price or conflict with his estimate and that's the response I got.Very unprofessional and bi-polar. Had my roof done by someone else and am very happy.Don't use this guy !!!!!

Honestly as good as it gets. We found Affordable Roofing from a flyer on the doorstop of our ""new"" old home in Orange. Marty was prompt to come, listen to our needs and wants, and give a (reasonable) quote. We decided on a pale shingle, Sand Castle, but he strongly encouraged us to go with Aged Cedar, and gave us an address to see it installed. Well, that's why he's the professional! House would have looked all one color and BLAH with the pale roof (this is still not a DARK roof), and we are very pleased with the appearance.

When the time was right to schedule, we lined up the week -- Marty did all the ground work of city permits and having a porta-potty delivered to the curbside so that I didn't have to be home for them to be working, and of course arranging delivery of the product. His men worked from Wednesday to Friday, in such a coordinating manner -- real teamwork! The worst for them was the first day: tearing off the old off-brand C-Shake type tile that was a crumbling dusty mess, and yet the crew was out there in the heat singing!

Marty has a fellow that specializes in solar tubes, and we had three installed. This required additional trips to the supply store when it turned out our rafters were not all on standard centers! But he & I brainstormed and came up with the best placement that I actually like better than the original plan.

Finally, the cleanup was total and complete! I can't recommend Marty and his crew strongly enough -- if you are in mid-county you should drive by and see how good it looks!

Trust Yelp reviews! We cancelled one roofer because of poor response and then discovered bad reviews. Thank Goodness we looked at ranking and reviews, because that's how we found and called Affordable Housing and Marty. They're finished now and we SO PLEASED. How could they do it in 3 days? The first day we counted 9 people taking off the old roof(s). The second day we saw about 7 putting on the new wood and replacing damaged fascia. Yesterday, the beautiful Owen Corning shingles (we selected ""Teak"") were put on and everything was perfectly finished cleaned up. They had the right tools and the workers knew what they were doing. Very professional and we enthusiastically recommend this company.

Redid a old 30 year 3 layer roof and what a job it was. The quality, speed and professionalism of the Quality roofing was evident from the start. The final product has been complimented by all my neighbors and I could not be more pleased.

Finally got my roof replaced. I was in contact with my prior roofer for about 2 years trying to get a quote and information for a replacement. Call backs were random, but he would not pin down a date or time. Contacted two other roofers; one wanted me to pay $300 to come out for a quote and left a message for me to schedule an appt. When I called back, the answering machine stated they were booked for 4 months - found it odd they were willing to take my money to give an estimate but not available. This was a Yelp 5 star roofer. The 3rd roofer came and looked at roof, but never heard back as he was a friend of a friend. I was really apprehensive and frustrated at this point.

Came home and saw a flyer on my doorstep from Affordable roofing. I sent an email requesting a quote. Marty send me an email back and he came over that weekend to give me an estimate. The price was excellent so I thought he was a scam....but he took the time to show me some of the recent roofs he had done in Indian village. I asked him to show me Roofs he had replaced 10-15 years ago. So we went to look at a few - one in which I knew the couple in the Indian village neighborhood. I talked to the couple and they had all positive comments and stated their experience was awesome.

So, I signed the deal with Marty. Omg, what a fantastic experience. Roof torn down in one day and new roof on the next day. The crew was clean and professional. Calls and correspondence were prompt. Best experience ever and the price was excellent!!! I love my gray new roof. Never knew a black roof makes the house much hotter! Thank you Marty!!!
