I called to get my roof repaired and wanted to be home when the repairs were done but these guys left a message and came out to repair the roof even though we told them we wanted to be home. However I was sleeping when I heard them on the roof. They were done with the repairs in 15min. I guess this is why they wanted to do the work when know one was home. SCAMMM!!!!
I paid over $1200 for repairs after a inspection done by the owner Named GUY. After inspecting the roof myself I noticed broken tiles were not replaced but glued back on. I also was missing a few tiles. After I called he sent someone out to install tiles where they were missing. I asked if they normally leave tiles out and GUY had no comment. Also the corner end covers looked like they were cut out with a pocket knife as I compared them to my neighbors and theirs looks professionally done. Their is definitely nothing professional about Affordable roofing BEWARE!!!!!

Guy's company replaced my roof in 2010. During a storm this year there was an issue. He came out and fixed it no problem!! You have found a permanent customer in me!!! Thank you!!

Looking for a roofer to do a roof inspection, Guy was referred by my friend Richard. He responded in a timely manner and inspected the roof for us and wrote us a reasonable estimate even during the storm was moving in. We communicated via email, phone and text. I highly recommend him!

I am selling my house and Affordable roofing was asked to do roof inspection. The inspection was done and my roof needed some minor repairs. When I called to schedule to have the repairs done I was told he would not schedule me until the inspection was paid for. I didn't ask for the inspection nor was I supposed to pay for it. I told the owner this and he said that he had been stiffed before so until the inspection was paid for he wouldn't do the work. I said so you are holding me hostage to get paid by someone else. His response was ""Yes"" I am not sure how the inspection and the work needed to be done are in any way connected. Needless to say I will not be doing business with this company. As I was on the phone trying to schedule he told me to email him with my request and he would get back to me, unsure why I needed to email request since I was talking to him on the phone. Bad service!

Guy came out and did our home inspection before we bought the house we live in. we called him back to do the follow up work from the inspection because the sellers didn't fix the issues. Guy patched up our roof with in a week after stated he was 2-3 weeks out with jobs. Very professional, knowledgeable and great work.

Affordable roofing did a roof repair work for my property in Faifield in Jan of last year. However, the same spot is leaking again now. Thought they should have a warranty on their work. Called Affordable roofing more than 5 times and could not get a hold of someone that can give us a solid answer. Finally it took us yelling at them to patch us through to a technician. Basically they do not warrant their work and they do not do a good job

Stay away from them if you want a reliable repair work

We developed a leak yesterday after the monsoon system came over Vacaville. Guy sent me an email the same day I called requesting help. His email said he would inspect my roof the following day. He showed up this morning as advertised. After his inspection he found a cracked roof tile. He stated another employee would return at 12:00pm (noon) to repair my tile. With lots of rain in the forecast for today I got nervous when at 3:00 pm nobody showed up. So I called Guy to get an update and he stated that the guy who was going to do my repair work was very busy in Dixon doing 2 other jobs. He did assure me he would show up before the end of the day or we could reschedule for a later date. With my roof leaking I did not want to reschedule. I then asked him if he warranties his repair work? He stated he does NOT warranty $100 jobs, He got upset with me for asking about a warranty and told me he would not be able to repair my tile and abruptly hung up the phone. I called back several times and he would not answer my calls and his voice mail was full and could not take messages.

I gave Guy 5 stars for his speedy response. But it was obvious my $100 tile repair job did not fit into his busy work schedule, especially when I asked for a warranty . My cracked tile has turned into $$$ because of the water damage that is ongoing...

Although the office staff at this firm was courteous, I am disappointed in the email response from Guy. Never received a phone call from him. Instead a day later I got an email asking if I wanted a bid on the whole house. (I had already told the office staff it was one gutter run and a downspout). I emailed him back expressing the same, one gutter run and a downspout, a smaller job.
His response was the following including the poor English ""Sorry too busy to bid this job. Call xxxx Roofing they in Vallejo. We are in Fairfield.""
Wow sorry to bother you with my little job...since I don't need my whole house done you can't be bothered looking or working with me...guess I should count myself lucky with the bad reviews you have on yelp, I thought well let me at least contact AR, now I know why you have bad reviews, probably because of your bad communication and business attitude.

Guy and his team did an amazing job with our roofing project, the pitch on our roof is very steep and requires safety ropes to attempt any area of the roof. From tear off to completion other than a brand new roof there is no sign of any construction. What a professional company affordable roofing is!!! Guy from start to finish answered every concern we had and repaired any and all dry rot issues that were pre-existing. They even primed all the new plywood that was installed. Five stars is the minimum I could give. Thank you very much!!! I will highly recommend them always, Jason & Amber McGovern :)
