Jose is as professional as they get. He quoted me for a very affordable price (much cheaper than other places). He was very good at responding to texts/emails and calling back through the whole process. He was really good at making me feel assured they were going to do a great job being such a huge chunk of change out of my pocket. He walked me through exactly what he was charging for and what materials etc. they use. His team was amazingly fast. They did my entire roof in 3 days! They cleaned everything up, took care of all the small details and the roof job looks beautiful! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I contacted several roofing companies in early January because our roof was in really bad shape and even I knew it must be replaced. I contacted a few companies, and Jose (the owner) of Affordable Roofing responded right away and he came to our house the next day for the estimate. He provided very affordable pricing and e-mailed me the detailed estimate. He had other projects going on already and it was raining constantly so he couldn't start the job at our place until mid-February. But once they began, they were very efficient and good at what they were doing. From the beginning to finish, it only took them TWO days. They were able to finish right before it started to rain that same afternoon. When I got home from work, some guys were up on the roof doing final touch-ups and some were in our yard cleaning up. No mess left behind!

Jose also went up to the roof and shot me a video of our new roof. The quality of work was great, and the people were very friendly and professional. My neighbors complimented our new roof and also thought they did a good job. I would definitely recommend Jose and Affordable Roofing to my family and friends!

Jose is awesome!! He came as soon as he could. His price was reasonable. He showed me videos and pictures of all the areas that required repair. He was working a big job and took the time to send over two of his workers to repair my roof before the next rain session we had. It rained for 3 days straight and every leak was repaired. This guy was very rude. I'm looking for a quote after the water got inside the house with the heavy rain. Jose picked up the phone, and I told him what I needed, then he went off telling me that he has 30 callers ahead of me and he wont be able to check it out next week. With a simple sorry, I'm very busy this week, would make the difference in the manners of a person ...I need a service and you need customers...so, good customer service and quality in your work, is what make people call again and refer you to others..

Jose and crew are fantastic. I had several leaks. He came out and fixed them. His price was very reasonable. His crew worked hard and were very clean. You didn't even know they were here. Jose even came by twice to make sure everything was going well.

Was very Happy with the quality, price, and quick time frame that Affordable was able to put a new roof on my house. I received 5 different quotes and Jose's quote was most competitive. They stuck to the time frame they told me, cleaned up at the end of each day, went the extra mile on painting my fascia and plugging a leak I had before they started job. Last Thursday Affordable Roofing finished redoing our roof (Start to finish was 4 days). Last months storm brought 2 different leaks to our home so rather than just put a band-aid on and fix those areas we decided to redo the whole roof since it was 23 years old. The old way of putting the felt down on the plywood was called single ply where todays roofers now lay down two ply. This company also fixed a few of our rain gutters, installed a new down spout, installed drip edge in all gutters and horizontal areas with no gutters as well as added five O'Hagin vents on the back side of the roof for additional attic venting.

We added the additional venting because we installed a whole house fan last year and when running it on high speed the 3 gable vents were not allowing the air to escape from the attic fast enough so it would draft through the light switches and electrical plugs upstairs. According to the manufacturer we needed to add more venting. I am sharing this information to those that have whole house fans and are planning on redoing your roof as it would be a perfect time to add some dormers.

In all the years of using contractors we have had good and bad, just like most of us on here. But the one thing I wanted to share is that this company was by far the best contractor I have worked with. Jose Gonzales (Owner) did everything he said he would do, his employees were professional and cleaned up after every days work.

We had received three bids before deciding who to use to perform the work. I normally do not choose the highest bid as I feel they are ripping you off, I also do not choose the lowest as I feel they will take short cuts. This time I broke my rule as roofer number 1 (referred by my realtor) was the most expensive by more than $4000.00. Then my neighbor across the street had his buddy come and provide an estimate and his was $2500.00 higher. Both these bids were not going to fix my rain gutters nor did they include the extra venting in the bid. I choose the lowest bid on this job because the personality of Jose outshined the other two contractors and the reviews found on Facebook's Chino Hills Connections page kind of said Jose is the guy.
