I called Affordable Contractors to inquire about my roof. About 2 weeks later a guy called me. I explained that I had a small leak under the AC unit dog house of a roof package unit. I told them the AC company is going to remove the unit to allow the roofer to fix or replace the roof. At that point they said were not interested in my business. He wouldn't even explain why. I am not sure what spooked him, but I imagine he just saw my job as too much of a hassle to deal with and passed. Thanks for nothing.

Joe was the person with whom we dealt. He was congenial, took his time to explain the different roofing systems that he could install and gave us a fair price. A plus was that he lived in the NMB area. They were prompt and got the work done in short order. The inspections took a little longer than expected.
After reviewing the work, changes needed to be made and they were all done according to our needs. We were satisfied with the work. We ended up having to put back the goosenecks in order to reduce the heat accumulation in the attic and to help seal up some openings that we saw. Joe sent his men over to take care of that shortly after we asked.
The last time I changed a roof was on another house about 25 years ago. I had not realized that roof costs had doubled in that time. However, we were happy with the result and the roof looks beautiful.

We had our entire flat roof re-roofed in December 2016 by Affordable Contractors. We chose a flat roofing system from IB Roof systems - a company that offers a lifetime warranty, and they were the ones to recommend Affordable to me. Koby was my direct contact, and I have to say, I am yet to meet a more professional contractor in my life. Koby's communication and attention to quality was amazing both before and after the ""sale"". I didn't think a hassle free, high quality roofing job was possible, but that's what Koby delivered! He made permitting and inspection happen so smoothly, and even shared videos of the roof getting done, explaining how he was taking care of quality control during the process. I would be happy to recommend Koby / Affordable Contractors to anyone without reservation. A customer for life!

I've hired the roofing division to do some repairs on a tiled roof. They were supposed to fix a leak and replace any cracked tiles.

The supervisor came to give me a quote, assessed everything quickly and professionally and gave me an ok price. On the day of the repair, he brought 3 other people (none of which he knew a name of and none of which spoke a word of English). They were done in than half a day.

After my inspection I pointed out about a dozen of badly cut tiles and a slight mess they've left on the roof. He promptly scheduled a follow up, brought one guy and spent another half a day fixing everything to my full satisfaction.

Overall, I would have loved to get it done correctly the first time, but ultimately the job was well done without many headaches.
