Installation went ok. However, needed some help with something later and they never return your phone calls. Left at least 5 messages that went unreturned. As soon as they have your money they move on to the next person. Even left a message on the owner's cell. Also unreturned. Called back a week later and it said his voicemail was full and could not leave another message. Was promised that they were customer service oriented, they are not. Stay away from this company.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! Solar Advantage does not even deserve a fraction of a star. All they care about is getting new customers, who are not aware of this company's bad reputation, poor workmanship and lack of regard for existing customers .
I had solar panels installed through this company in 2019, I am lucky if I had 6 months smooth service. A nightmare cannot adequately describe my experience with this company so far. AND THE NIGHTMARE CONTINUES!!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!! For the past two years, (atleast) everytime I contact the company about a problem with my system, I keep hearing that they are only catering to newer clients and I am out of my two year free labor warranty. Not sure who told them I wanted free labor. There is also the excuse that the company is experiencing labor shortage. Trying to figure whose fault is it that they cant keep employees? As if to appease the situation they gave me the contact information for this partner they claim to have, who does not return emails. Why am I not surprised
Funny enough the first review I wrote the owner contacted me and fixed the issue I was having. He asked me to either remove the negative review or update the review to reflect a positive outlook. I updated the review. After updating the review it didnt take long for the system to malfunction again. One of my inverters has not been working since 2021. As far as I am concerned the panels on my house serve as decoration because I am not benefitting from these panels. My light bill is still high. BE WARNED!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

3 more broken panels from poor install. Just had to pay another solar company $2400 to fix work they messed up on from installing my panels. Stay away from this company . Still no resolution 2 years later and system has been producing under 50% of what promised from them

BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!!! REGRET DAILY!! We are and have been paying MORE with having solar than had we never installed it which Instill can't understand.
We were taken advantage of and totally mislead. We trusted the sales rep and his recommendations given his proposed experience and promises. He reviewed several months of our electric bills therefore he knew what we would need to benefit from solar. We are now close to 2 years into this and again paying MORE than had we never done this. Also, we are still with ZERO resolution or explanation as to why and the inability to speak to anyone to help rectify this or help us understand how we are in this scenario. We are currently paying the monthly loan for the solar panels in ADDITION to a high Duke energy bill which we were promised would not be the case. We are unable to consistently get in touch with ANYONE in this company to try to help us. The few times we have been able to speak to a live body or have someone return our call, there is zero follow through or guidance. Ultimately the people we have spoken to are no longer with the company to include our sales rep, lead
technician and manager which is overall a concern in itself. God forbid the owner or current manager get back to us?! After approaching this in the most patient and appropriate fashion and getting no where, we are left with nothing more than to seek legal advice and contact local news channels because WE NEED HELP and this is not financially sustainable for us or fair. I regret everything and ever believing / trusting a word they said. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I received quotes from four different solar companies. All four of them did solar panel layout designs for my roof. Solar Advantage was the most professional across the board, and was the only company that chose a panel layout that didn't put panels in places that are shaded 50% of the day. Their estimates on costs to recuperate my investment were the most conservative, assuming a 6% annual increase in the cost of a kilowatt vs the other three companies that assumed 8%-10%. This is while also having one of the lower prices.

My panels were just installed yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. The installation team showed-up on time, and was extremely friendly. Jay had a few questions from me as far as placement of some of the electrical components were concerned, and then they were at it putting things in place. The installation crew even took the time to explain to my kids how solar works!

After they were done, everything was cleaned up without any trash left behind and everything put back as it was originally; or in better condition. They even cleanly removed one of our bushes (After talking with us), in order to meet code for one of the boxes.

We're currently waiting for the inspection to be done which is scheduled for tomorrow, then we'll get our two-way meter from FPL; after that everything will be in full force. Solar Advantage has made it clear how long to expect these things to take place, and so far everything has taken significantly less than expected. As a result you can believe the dates they give you, and your actual dates will likely be better than what they say.

I wouldn't hesitate from doing business with Solar Advantage again; and will be recommending them to all my friends.

got the 8k on my roof and it sweet as we use to be on balanced bill so had a 120 in credit so basic no electric bill since last June in fact we got a surprise 56 bill but that not due to the solar but my Trane 20xli indoor condenser leaked so it was due to that but always sterling work on the system so no problems as purrs as long as long as the sun is out

We bought our first home back in 2014 and it didn't take long to notice increasing utility bills. We interviewed a few solar companies and we're very happy that we chose to go with Solar Advantage. From beginning to end, Martin and his team educated and explained everything - no hard sales pitches. Now out 9kw installation runs like a dream and instead of dressing out electricity bills...we look forward to seeing how we are saving on a monthly basis!

an estimate to remove our old
solar hot water panels and solar pool panels. The removal
schedule was coordinated
with our roofing contractor. The workers were professional and careful at our house. We would not hesitate to use this company again.
