I decided to wait to give my final review after a few months have gone by, and here it is... I love solar! My system is functioning exactly as planned. My generation numbers are beating expectations... and my SCE bill is near zero. As we get into spring, I will start building SCE credits to be used for summer A/C use. I initially went to them for a tankless water heater and they installed it flawlessly. After awhile I had some issues and they came out and found that the water heater needed some work, which they completed under warranty. At that time they suggested a filtration system because of the water in my community, which I had them install. Two years after the filter install, we were having the same issue of calcium in the water and they without any issue came out and added a water softener to my system. When Joe was doing the install he did above and beyond to make us happy. I can not say enough about the professionalism and customer service of Advanced. We are now looking at solar systems and expect to use advanced for that project as well.

I am a very picky customer and searched various solar panel vendors. Advanced Improvement was the best price, but more than that, they were the most informative with excellent customer service. They installed LG panels with free monitoring. They took care of all the forms and submission required with the city. We used the HERO program to finance the panels, which is much better than leasing (PLEASE, if you are reading this, look more into HERO program). Advanced Improvements can help you through the application process as well. I worked closely with Dave and he was very prompt, courteous, and informative. He's not pushy with sales tactics either. Everything went smoothly from end to end. After signing the contract, the panels were installed and completed within 5 weeks!!!

SOLAR: With so many solar companies out now and horror stories of people getting ripped off I was skeptical of who to go with. Was referred to Advanced Improvements by a friend who had solar installed by them. I spoke to Jason about my electric bill which is typically $300-$600 a month winter/summer. He seemed very truthful and told me about every solar option I could go with. It seemed informational rather than a sales pitch. He wasn't trying to steer me into only one option as all the others do. They also had great financing options if needed. After researching a few other companies I decided to go with Advanced Improvements mainly because they explained it all so well not to mention had the best price.

I ended up with 51 micro inverter panels. Installation was very fast (week or so). They have their own crew, nothing subcontracted. My wife commented on how helpful and polite Joe was who ran the job. They used top quality name brand system components and it's all wired up to my internet for easy access from any phone/computer. After you get installed you then have to deal with SCE getting Net Metering started. Advanced Improvements took care of it all and stayed on top of it. After a month I was on NEM. Now my bill will be almost zero.

All in all, excellent service, system, and price. I highly recommend you at least talk to them if you are thinking of installing solar.

Water heater was leaking. Call several plumbers for an estimate. By far, Advanced had the best price. Four hours later we had hot water thanks to installer Oscar.

Advanced Improvements recently installed solar electricity on my home. I now have a 51 panel micro-inverter system that will virtually eliminate my SCE bill.
