My mom needed to have her roof re-done and was concerned about the mess that might be left behind, and how dangerous it might be for her grandchildren playing in her yard. So before the work began, she specifically asked if they would be able to clean everything up afterwards. She was ensured that they have specialized tools to clean up and she shouldn't worry. After the work completed, she came home to find roofing material, sharp pieces of wood and nails all around the house! If they had mentioned they wouldn't be able to clean everything, my mom would have put down tarps before the work began.

Looking back over the contract, there's a second page that's not at all obvious. The signature is on the front of the contract and there's a whole page of amendments on the back, one of which says that the homeowner is supposed to put drop clothes out! Sure would have been nice if they mentioned that when my mom specifically asked about clean up before the job started.

Update: Actually, that bit in the contract about drop clothes is referring to debris falling inside through the attic, etc. It specifically says the exterior will be left in ""broom clean condition"" which it wasn't.

After my mom complained, they did come back out with a shop-vac at least to clean up more, after they called her ""picky"" on the phone.

Update 2: After finishing up the cleanup, the guy did apologize for his behavior on the phone, so that's good at least.

I highly recommend Adams Roofing!!!! Reroof started on Tuesday, Wednesday it rained, Jesse came out to make sure things were ok . Thursday they were here real real early. Worked all day (til dark) Friday all day and sat they finished. Very happy w the outcome very professional and Jesse answered all the questions I had. Lisa in the office was also very helpful she kept me informed on everything she even brought me sample books so I could choose my color of shingle. Thanks Adams Roofing I'm glad I chose u guys and my cat is glad ur done she hid under the bed up in the mattress!!

We had an old wood shake roof. Adam's had it off and rebuilt with all new vents, new shingles and a solar vent in 4 days. That is clean up, haul away, everything. Results were better than I had hoped for a complete new roof.

Before signing on the line with Adams, I invite you to see the pictures of the mess I was left with. When extra layers were uncovered, I didn't hold them responsible and paid the large extra cost. Even though I do feel that, since this is their specialty, they should warn a homeowner that the possibility of discovering extra layers could add significantly to the project cost. As a homeowner, how would I know they actually couldn't tell how many layers were there? They definitively stated the number of layers when quoting the job giving no indication that it might not be accurate. When I approached them and told them I wanted to give them some feedback, things immediately got frosty.

Worse was the disaster left in my attics and on the new furnace and AC. I had even mentioned the units were new and I wanted to be sure they were not damaged. All they would have had to do is to tell me how bad it could get with extra layers and I would have immediately tarped EVERYTHING. Of course, Lisa insists she did. Yeah, right; I really don't care that much about my huge HVAC investment. I'm sorry, but the wording in the contract (which they LOVE to fall back on instead of trying to make things right) ""ANY DEBRIS CONSISTING OF DUST, DIRT, ASPHALT, OR SMALL BITS OF MATERIALS"" does not even come close to the disaster in the attics. We're not talking shop vac here, but heavy debris removal of old debris, AND new wood and shingles from their work too. As roofing PROFESSIONALS, they may have expected that, but the average lay person would certainly NOT.

To top it off, Lisa's aspersions regarding probable lack of experience (didn't I hire PROFESSIONALS?) with the mess caused by construction was especially insulting. I have had an entire house remodeled, almost doubling in size, and never ran into this kind of an attitude.

Adams roofing is amazing! Wonderful Family owned company! Starting from the price, to the service and the quality of the work they do! They cleaned up after each day including sweeping up all of the nails/staples so my dog and babies didn't hurt themselves. They tried their best to accommodate my babies nap time as well. It doesn't get any better than this company. I don't write reviews very often because I seem to get terrible service just about everywhere I go and every company that comes to my house to do work. I would highly recommend them to anybody! They even did a little side work for me to repaint where the new gutters no longer covered my newly painted house. Thanks guys you made this process a lot easier!!

We had an excellent experience with this company. During a storm we experienced a small leak in our roof, despite the chaotic weather, the company was quick to respond and fixed the leak without a hitch. My family was so impressed with their professionalism and kindness starting from the very first call through the completion of the work. We'll be using them when the time comes to completely replace our roof.

I have to edit my review... Although they came out to fix our roof in the storm it was hard to get them to come back out to get an estimate for a replacement, they were very vague on when they'd be out and it ended up being 4 weeks after I called when they called to see if it would be a good time to come over. Then after they came out I was told they would email me the estimate, Ive yet to recieve one, it's been over 4 weeks.... They never contacted us after the storm to fix the repair (it is a different color than the rest of the tiles) which I didn't mind at first because I was hoping to get the whole thing replaced..... Unfortunately, we did not go with this company for our roof replacement.

Outstanding work. Attention to detail.
My home was not built correctly and had dryrot and some broken tiles etc.
Needed someone with some real expertise that was beyond my ability.
Got their name from a friend who had work done by them and it was done right.
I was explained all the whys whens hows and they used quality products. The owner of the company was on my roof, not just a bunch of guys that take orders and cut corners. His estimate was accurate and through. They also cleaned all my gutters and valleys. When they left there was no sign they were here but great results. I can do construction but a roof is for professionals and that they were. 5 plus stars. Whenever i need someing else done other than a roof, will call them to ask who they recommend. It ended up being less than expected. Now i will take my wife to lagunitas and celebrate my not falling off a roof.
