Adams Roofing was doing my neighbor house, after watching his crew work for five days I arranged to hire him to do my roof. My house is slightly smaller but I expected him to take 4days and instead he brought two extra guys, one of which clearly was not a diligent worker. He tried to finish my roof in two days because he had another commitment. This was never discussed before he started and now he was rushing my job! My roof had a worker step through and damage my drywall, it was never fixed. His team dropped my skylight and cracked all the drywall inside, this he was asked to repair or not be paid so he attempted repairs. Since he was only willing to patch instead of redo, the finish was never as good as the original. I found tiles misplaced and mislaid compared to before. Because the work was done he couldn't correct this without doing the entire section again. All of these things led to my withholding $600 from his payment, I should have withheld more but I am a honest person and he was trying to repair their damage. A couple of years later I had a leak and I called for an warranty inspection. His office took my call twice and he failed to appear both times. He was sloppy with my roof and clearly unprofessional in honoring his warranty since I didn't pay the full amount, but if you read this much then I can understand why and the low rating and poor review.

This review is for Adam's Roofing, owned by Adam Thorin (currently based out of Santa Ana, CA, but he might have other cities associated). My family found him through a cabinet installer whom we had received an estimate from. Huge mistake going with Adam. He misled us into thinking that he had experience with the roofing tiles we wanted, then showed up with workers who watched online videos as they tried to figure out how to properly install them. Adam ended up admitting that they were being installed incorrectly (let's just say holes were being drilled into the wrong places, ruining the underlayment). He then replaced them with 2 subcontractors who were almost as bad and left a mess (the tiles were installed in a completely crooked line as shown in the picture, we found leaking on one side of the house after a rainy night, and the list goes on). Long story short, he didn't own up to things and we ended up consulting an attorney. Looking back, it's almost comical how unprofessional and incompetent his behavior was. If this review helps at least one customer make an informed decision about Adam and avoid the trouble that my family went through, we are happy with that alone. We're glad we experienced this, because now we're more knowledgeable about liens (which we fortunately protected ourselves from) and dishonest contractors.

Update - pooling of water noted on the roof. His completely careless/reckless installation is worse than we thought. Added another picture as proof.

I am a real estate broker of dozens of agents. I was introduced to Adam's Roofing from one of my agents that utilized his service and said they were amazing. I understand roofers are busy and he explained he has many jobs going on due to in-climate weather. I shared that I just purchased a home on 2-3 different occasions and that I needed to meet the company at the subject property. The company shared that they would be be available over a week period and I encouraged them to reach out to me and I would need advance notice. Unfortunately, I received a call at around 3pm today, that he was available now to take a look.I shared that with work obligations a simple instant request could not be met (as shared previously). I understand Yelp will remove this review due to no service being rendered, but I would encourage them to keep it. It is a testament to the lack of understanding a client and providing excellence in service.

Adam just redid my house roof in Laguna Niguel. I've had so many problems with other contractors in this area, I'm always on guard. However, Adam is simply the best contractor I've met in the 5 years I've been here: courteous, easy to talk to, creative and most of all flat out just does what he says he's going to do...and if there's an issue, he communicates right away. The City gave him fits over dumb issues that almost put our house at risk and if it weren't for Adam standing on my roof at 9:30 pm fulfilling his word, my newly remodeled house might have been seriously damaged from the heavy storm that came thru literally the day he was putting the roof on. Lastly, his price was more than competitive and the roof is amazing. Thanks Adam!!!

Reasonable price for professional service. Adam and his team did a great job installing the whirlybirds on our roof. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. He's a nice guy too!

Adam's Roofing provided a new roof for our small old house in Orange County. He treated us as if we were important royalty and only took 3 days; pulled up the big rig with convey-er belt to load roofing onto the roof, and had a constant clean up crew with the professional roofers. They know what they are doing!!!! My neighbors are all impressed! It is beautiful and fantastic and has a 50 year warranty!! WOW!! See you when I'm 92 years old, Adam! :) Thanks so much!!

We have used Adam not only for all of our roofing problems on a fourplex and a seven unit apartment building in Huntington Beach, but also for skylights in our home and rentals for over 10 years. Our large fourplex on Waverider Circle had several leaks over the years on the tile roof and the flat roof. Once we had it fixed by Adam and his crew, we never had to worry about another leak. He was recommended to us by an apartment owner across from our townhouses. What a find!!! Adam and his crew are definitely the best in the field, and we would not even consider calling anybody else. No job is too big or too small. He is so creative and experienced, he even helped us with bee-problems and roof rat issues. We wasted $450 on a roof rat pest control service, and Adam was the one who found, where they were coming into the walls. Adam's pricing is very reasonable, and the jobs are always quickly and well done. He communicates well with all the tenants and everything is left spotless. Thank you Adam, you are the best!

I had Adam and his team do a roof about four years ago and recently recommended him to a neighbor. The price was reasonable, the work very high quality, and the service great. There was a minor problem and they came and fixed it right away and apologized profusely. Very well run company. I should add that the web address they list on their ads seems to be broken. Call them.

I am a maintenance supervisor, & we hired Adam to do a big roofing job on a property with a very old roof that was leaking & had to be completely redone. He replies to emails in a timely manner , he is very prompt & professional. If he sais he's going to do Something he does. And lastly, his prices are more than reasonable.
