Recommended Customer Reviews

I met Ben because he was working on a neighbors' building. Said he's worked for this guy who owns several commercial businesses. Seemed very nice. Ben told me to read his reviews on HomeAdvisor - looked to be good.
I hired Ben for various projects on May 6 2016. I felt like I found someone that I could trust, could do nearly everything from minor repairs to big projects, was reasonable, etc. I was excited because we are looking to renovate several areas of our home in 2017- these small repairs at our office were to be somewhat of a test to see how things went. I have also referred him to many of my friends and associates - hard to find good people.
In addition to attic cleanup & blow-in insulation, I hired Ben to fix leaking in my roof around and near chimney. Ben had his ""roofing guy"" come by and do this work while he was here working on other items that day.
Unfortunately I am still experiencing the same leaks...
I have texted and left a voice message for Ben on June 20 & 22. Ben has not return my messages/calls. Could it be because I told him the same area is leaking again and need it needed to be repaired again??
I could not wait any longer for repairs as we have more rain coming this weekend. I have hired another company to correct Ben's roof ""repairs"" from 2016 !!!!!
The new roofing company had me on a ladder today to see why Ben's ""repairs"" didn't work -
* they didn't remove old flashing before installing new flashing - the new flashing is forcing water between shingles, trim & siding around chimney
* they didn't place new flashing high enough on chimney so water is still coming in the same area
* they didn't use roofing underlayment paper prior to installing new asphalt shingles
* they left gaps between old and new plywood
* they didn't nail down 4 new installed boots so some were actually coming off
* they didn't re-glue shingles they pulled up so they could install new shingles
* ETC...
I paid Ben $650 for the roof/leaking repairs.
I sure would like to have that money back to pay for the new company I have had to hire today to correct Ben's ""repairs"" from 2016 !!!!!
VERY DISAPPOINTED to say the least...
