Adail and his crew did an outstanding job installing our new roof.  We could not be happier and would give him 6 stars if we could. His pricing was very competitive. Adail was at our home every day, all day, supervising his workers and directly involved in the installation.  He was meticulous, paid close attention to details, and took pictures for us during the entire process.

Adail even identified and replaced defective items on our roof previously unknown to us, and at no additional charge.

Adail made certain that we were 100% satisfied after completing the work. He cleaned up thoroughly and left our yard looking even better than before he started, thank you Adail! One of our neighbors came over the day he finished to tell us how beautiful our new roof looked. We are a customer for life and will recommend Adail to all our friends.

Adail Bastos Roofing sets the standard! He is personable, honest, and good at his job. His workers are reliable, friendly, and hard-working. Our 20-year old roof was not done well in the first place. We had some leaks and termite damage. Adail's crew removed a lot of rotting and damaged wood on the roof, before laying down a superior quality underlayment and a thermal barrier in our room with an open beam ceiling. He stuck by his original quote, spending over a week making sure we had a solid, good-quality shingle roof which will last longer than we will! (I am 70). He truly takes pride in his work and listens carefully to what you want. I would not hesitate to recommend Adail Bastos Roofing!

Adail was able to start sooner on our roof than expected. I picked him after watching his progress on another job in our Poway neighborhood.
Attention to detail and structural integrity of the roof are job one. ThaT sounds cliche , but this guy is the real deal. His price was competitive with other roofers and he does a better job.
This was my 2nd roofing experience in as many years( our home and a rental house for this review. )

Adail and his team are wonderful. From initially meeting Adail when my roof was leaking through the last day of work, they were kind, respectful, and professional. They were able to strip down the roof, inspect for rotted wood, and replaced the entire roof in a very short timeframe (even tried to start early, but my schedule wouldn't allow it). Being I was home, Adail took me up on the roof and showed me everything they were doing for clarity and took pictures along the way. They also thoroughly cleaned up the yard, driveway, and sidewalk after each day of work. Arguably the best part was that his quote was the most competitive when compared to the 3 other companies I had bids with. Thanks again, Adail!

Have you ever paid a stranger thousands of dollars for a job and at the end of it, want to be friends with them and their family!? I say that just to preface what I'm about to say. From the moment we met Adail and recieved a quote- we liked him. I know you shouldn't base a job solely on whether you like the person, but its an important piece of the puzzle. We felt comfortable with Adail from the beginning- there is COMPLETE honesty with him and no ""hidden agenda"", no twist of words or open ended statements that could be construed into something else by the end of the job like some tradesmen do. I tirelessly stayed up for hours each night looking at reviews of roofers I would potentially have come give estimates. We ended up with Adail and while is quote was SLIGHTLY higher than the others- We felt confident in Adail's word- his price given, WOULD BE HIS PRICE. This being our first house we were TERRIFIED of being taken advantage of, this is the single largest purchase we have ever made. We found with other roofers; there were going to be hidden/ extra costs, wood (we pointed out what we KNEW needed to be repaired with wood), vents, extra costs per layer being removed (what!?) and so much more. Adail treated our home like it was his own, he made the roof safe, walked on the roof with us to show us what was going on, SENT PICTURES DAILY (even some Rosie the Riveter pics of his workers :)), he watched the weather and made sure the job was secure when he knew it was going to rain, even came back one night to cover up when it unexpectedly said it was going to rain after he had left. The first day I came home at the end of the day- they were already gone and I kid you not, my front patio, back patio, side area... WERE ALL CLEANER THAN IT STARTED OFF. Besides a small area of covered materials in my yard, you would NOT have been able to tell there were roofers there. They cleaned up after themselves EVERY. SINGLE. DAY-- BETTER than it was. We never discussed how long the job was going to take as that wasn't important to us and we wanted it done right, whatever that meant (we also work outside the home), it took about a week and a half and we were honestly sad that they were done. My days off are partly during the week so there were two days we were home while they were working and my kids were still able to be in their rooms doing their zooms, I'm not saying it isn't loud, but it worked. I can't say more nice things about Adail- he's a kind and caring human being as are his guys. Thank you Adail for making this process so easy. We had our roof replaced along with two skylights. I cannot say enough great things about Adail and his crew. Adail is quite possibly one of the nicest people I've ever met. You can tell he cares about making sure you're happy with his work. Adail was always on-site making sure everything was done the right way. Site was left clean. Roof is beautiful. His quote was not the lowest we got, BUT it included everything. Quotes from other businesses left off items that would have driven up their prices to what Adail quoted in the first place. If you need help with your roof, definitely call Adail.

Adail is an angel - and everything you hoped for out of anyone that comes to help you with your home. He is honest, hard-working, and genuine.

We needed to do some roof maintenance on our home and called 2 places - Adail was so fast and was able to come take a look at the roof within 30 minutes. He got up on our roof and noticed some tiles were displaced and immediately helped put them back as we were expecting a heavy rainstorm the next day and he didn't want us to have any issues. He sent us an estimate that night. For comparison, the other company didn't bother going on our roof and took 2 days to send us an estimate.

After meeting Adail we knew immediately he was the person we wanted to go with, his rates were very competitive and the fact that he helped us before we hired him speaks volumes about his character - he just does what's right.

The day before he was to start work on our roof, he texted to confirm when he would come, came right on time, and brought his crew and was done in 2 hours. Everyone was so nice and pleasant - our toddler was obsessed with seeing the guys on our roof and they would wave to him and smile.

Adail was so efficient, professional, trust-worthy, and warm-hearted. He practiced safety precautions with COVID and always kept his mask on and socially distanced. I am so grateful to have found him. Look no further - go with Adail!

I had one loose roof tile that somehow flipped up so it was sticking straight up in the air. I called Adail based on his outstanding Yelp reviews and told him I had a very small job. He told me he had a small company with only two employees and most of his jobs were small. Adail and his helper showed up on time, were friendly, masked and professional. They caulked the loose tile and then told me it was free of charge. I was shocked because they still spent their time driving to my house. I will definitely call Adail again if I ever have a larger roofing problem. His professionalism and generosity won me over.

I contacted Adail to look at possible water damage to our ceiling. We already had our homeowners insurance come out. He immediately looked at our ceiling and determined that it was dirty fingerprints in the ceiling that looked like possibly mold. He was 100 percent honest that no work was necessary. He did not charge me anything for his time. I will definitely contact him again if I have any problems!
