I had a home inspection that indicated that I had hail damage, I called Acura and told my story. Patrick gave me some very good suggestions, including calling a roofer near me. I am in Georgetown and Acura in south Austin. Patrick gave me an appointment for an inspection but asked that if I found someone to please call so that he would not waste a long trip for nothing. I did have a local guy come out and he confirmed damage and gave a verbal quote. I called Patrick, told him that I did not need him. He sent someone out anyway, gave me a written quote and followed up with a phone call with more insight. As it turns out I sold the home, the buyer is doing the repair. I will give him the Acura quote and recommendation but odds are that Acura will not get the job. Patrick understood all of this, continued to give suggestions and follow-up. I can assure you that Acura would have been my choice, what a very nice, helpful and decent human being. Thank you Patrick!

A roof is a roof, right? Nope. Not even close.

Patrick alerted me to the complicated nature of my roof based on the pitch - and went as far as to offer up alternative roofers he trusts in the community to provide second opinions and estimates. Really, seriously he did that.

Beware the legions of scum bags and swindlers. Go with someone you can trust.

Acura Roofing, Inc. answered all my questions about a new roof. They provided me an estimate and shingle samples very quickly.

I was most impress with the site crew because they got the roof done in less than a day. They had a system going on. After the old layers of shingles were removed, at least 2 guys started cleaning from one side of the house to the other and 4 shinglers on the roof. The crew had the blower machine going on after the work was done.

Result. The roof looks great. The pipes and turbines match the shingles.

I am a Realtor, so I have dealt with several roofers over the years. One stood out remarkably better than the rest: Acura Roofing. Patrick Moran at Acura waded through some very complicated warranty issues with us on the existing roof, helped us get the new roof the sellers were due covered under warranty, and got the new one on the house in record time so that my buyers could move to closing on the house, all within a few weeks of a major hailstorm. The work was outstanding, and the customer service was unbelievable. I wish everyone was as fastidious and professional at their job as Patrick is: he makes me look good too!

I called Acura based on the positive reviews. Shingles were flying off my house on Christmas eve, and I left a voice mail message. To my surprise, Patrick called me back a couple of hours later (yes, on Christmas Eve). After questioning, he said he was not the guy for this job (as I have a steep roof that backs up over a canyon), but referred me to someone who could help me. I was very pleased with his response time.

I was so happy with Acura roofing that I decided to finally crate a yelp account to rave about their work. I originally had Acura do my roof about 6 years ago. They did a great job. They were polite, helpful, and on time. Not only that, they gave me the best price quote I could find and they did a great job. I was nothing but happy with their work.

So, a few years later my wife was trying to sell her home and we ran into a problem with her roof. A home inspector came out and suggested that the whole roof needed to be replaced. We didn't think that wasn't true but had to deal with the problem. I called Acura again. Patrick Moran came out and looked at the roof and told us what we were thinking: there were a few shingles that needed replacing-nothing more. He made the repairs and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. We were able to sell the home without any problems. I should have written a review after either one of the first two times a dealt with Acura, but didn't take the time to do so.

Which brings me to today. It seems that service after the initial sale is what really makes a company stand out. Acura did not disappoint in that respect. I recently moved back into my home after renting it out for several years. I discovered upon my return that some former tenants had installed several satellite dishes on the roof. The recent rains meant that the roof was leaking from the holes left when the tenant took their satellite dishes down. So, I called Acura again. Despite the large workload that they must be dealing with because of the rains, they came out and fixed my leaks. They were great about communicating when they would do the work. As usual their price was reasonable and they did a great job.

I plan to always use Acura for my roofing needs-if they arise again. I would strongly recommend them to anyone that needs a roof replaced or repaired.

I can't say enough about how pleased we were with Acura Roofing. They came out on very short notice, identified all the minor roof issues, and provided an excellent price to take care of it all (the roof had a leak).

I will definitely use them when the roof needs to be replaced. They are customer friendly, and are thorough and honest. Thank you to Patrick Moran for all his help.

We called Acura Roofing after a new leak was found after the recent rain storms. They were very responsive and informative with their recommendations and were obviously not trying to push more than we needed. They very clearly explained what was needed to fix the leak and what else was found that could cause other leaks in the future. They couldn't come out immediately....all roofers were very busy...so they offered some great suggestions to help minimize the damage. They suggested pulling back the insulation at the leak (it absorbs the water potentially causing mold) and putting a bucket up in the attic to keep the water from going through the ceiling. We couldn't really fit a bucket so they suggested to use a finishing nail (thin nail) to put a hole at the point in the ceiling where the water was coming through to prevent pooling which could've collapsed the drywall.

They gave us multiple estimates so we could decide what we could afford to do for now and worked very well with us when there were changes while doing the work. They recommended some better quality parts while on site which were going to last us MUCH longer but also make the installation easier. Because it made the installation easier they lowered the labor cost which made the better parts only cost a very small amount more...$40 for about 8 new pieces. We did pretty much everything they recommended since their prices were so low!

Shaun (sp?) was VERY nice and even pointed out a vent tube that wasn't connected to the A/C unit in our attic that he noticed while doing the work. He even climbed up on our attic to fix it before he left!

I STRONGLY recommend Acura Rooffing for anyone within their service area! We will always call them first in the future if any more work is needed!!

This is one of the best local businesses here in Austin, truly. My husband and I can not praise this company enough.

They were extremely professional and informative from start to finish. If a issues/questions arose during the process, they were completely on top of it and took care of it immediately. They even upgraded us to a more expensive solar fan, when the basic one we choose was out of stock for no extra charge.

One thing I liked best about this company is that they itemized the estimate so you knew exactly how much everything cost. This was very important to us because of course we had hail damage, but we also wanted to do some upgrades at the same time. It really helped us determined what was in our budget and what was not.

And after contacting several roofers here in Austin, it was refreshing that Acura Roofing was there when they said that they would be there. They also were able to start and finish the project in an extremely short amount of time. They had consent communication throughout the project and kept you up-to-date on all the details.

I also liked that they painted all the vents to match the color of our roof. These guys were completely about the details and craftsmanship. It was refreshing to work with such a professional company.

I called Acura based on all the positive reviews on Yelp. Although they ultimately declined to take my roof replacement job due to additional repair work needed beyond the scope of their usual jobs, they came out very quickly to look at the house, very patiently explained the work needed, and recommended other companies that could do the whole job. Much preferable to a company jumping into the job and doing it halfway!
