I've worked with many roofing companies over the last 25 years. Many bid low and then take advantage when additional work, such as replacing facia, is needed. Ace isn't like that. They cleared all additional work with me, quoted their prices in advance, and priced both their original work and the added work I wanted in a fair manner. Easy to work with. All employees had strong communication skills. Ace is fantastic.

We've had very bad experiences dealing with Ace for warranty repairs in defects in their roofing workmanship. They refuse to even come out to inspect their work on the flat roof portion of our townhouse units. There are portions of the building's flat roof that they did not elevate correctly to facilitate draining, leading to pooling during rain and now causing leaking.

There are other roofers out there that stand by the work so I would stay away from Ace.

Ace Roofing Systems and Andrew Hughes has always done a great job for me. I am kind of picky and know what to look for. They put a roof on my mom's house and a couple of others on some other property I own. I have recommended them to many, many clients and Ace has always done a good job.

They have been in business a long time and I know that if I ever need service on any job they have done, they will be in business in the future to service those roofs as well.

Ace Roofing Systems put a roof on our home about 15 years ago. They recommended a Corning product that still looks great and doesn't leak. We're really happy with Ace's workmanship and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

I needed a roof cert, and since they had been the one that my real estate agent used originally when we bought our house, I thought I would go back to them to recertify my roof (required for insurance). I am glad that their business is doing well enough to where they feel that they can treat their potential costumers like dirt.

They were rude and condescending on the phone, and then never followed up with me after I faxed over some information that they requested. Left a message that never got returned. I guess $5k is small potatoes to them... it looks like their focus is primarily with corporate accounts so if you're small potatoes like me, go elsewhere for roofing service... to a mom and pop shop maybe with people who would actually appreciate getting business from you.
