Ace Roofing quickly inspected my leaking roof in San Francisco. They promised a quote giving the option of roof repair or replacement. I did not get a quote and followed up a few days later. They again promised a proposal ""within a few days"". No estimate or proposal after 10 days so I hired a different company (and they did a great job).

Lady who answered the phone and set up the appointment was nice. However, the person who was supposed to see our property to do the estimate never showed up, then lied on the phone to say they did (we were waiting at home) amd told us to expect an estimate. Never got it, and no follow up. If you don't have time or won't do it because the job seems too small, then please just say so. That's understandable. The lack of service and follow through is not.

I love this company. I first called them out maybe 4 years ago because of a leak when I found my own company had retired. They did a wonderful job but when a leak happened again they came back immediately and fixed it. The drain was being tricky so without even prompting from me they fixed that too.This year I had a lot of construction on the rear of my house that required very heavy stuff to be carried over the roof so I called Ace and asked if someone could come out just check to make sure everything was fine. They came in one day to inspect and found a couple of places that need attention and returned two day later to do the work. Now I am already for winter and very relieved. Thank you so much for your great work and giving me such peace of mind!

Ace Roofing was wonderful and have really good job-site and office management. They were responsive and efficient time wise, they told me wait time would be 2 months because they were so busy but Luis the estimator managed to fit us in on a weekend. We live out of state but Luis made the process very easy and sent us progress pictures along the way. Luis is very knowledgeable and knows how to create a proper roofing system. Ace was excellent - Luis and his team responded with a quick quote and a can-do attitude for a fairly complicated residential roof replacement. We were impressed by the consistent communication throughout the process; Luis kept us in the loop every step of the way! Ace was also able to complete the job quickly and on-schedule - Luis coordinated with our painter as well and made it easy for a sequence of jobs to take place. Pricing was exceedingly competitive. There was a small problem with scheduling, as I was out of town for an extended period, and the roof was to be done 10 days after I returned. I did not check to see if that was still planned and it was not. He put me next to be done when the issue was raised.
The workers were very efficient, but the next day I noticed a solar tube had been knocked loose with the pounding. Jon sent a crew over to repair it the same day. When one of the crew crawled in the attic to repair it, he saw how much gravel & ?tar paper had ended up in the attic of my 100 yr old house. Both men took a small wet dry vacuum up in the attic & cleaned it so I am comfortable going up there and not dragging gravel back down stairs.
I am hoping this roof will last the 27 years without a problem like the last one did.

We had a few quotes from our local roofers, but Luis gave us the best pricing and made sure we got quality fixing. Him and his team did a magnificent job on our roof on Lawton and they installed copper gutter which looked great.

Ace did great work for me to install 3 sky lights / windows. They were also flexible when there was some delay to the materials being delivered.

There was some initial hiccups in communication, but later on when I started to work with Luis directly the communication became smooth. Luis helped me to address concerns on fit & finish of the roofing, identify a sub contractor and made sure his team did a good job.

Ultimately I am the proud owner of a new re-roofing and 3 skylights.
