We hired Hugo to put a new roof back in 2020. Then 1 year later tried to call him since we had 1 broken tile. I called him and wanted him to come out to repair or replace. I was paying him to do the job. He never answers his phone or returns phone calls. The few time he responded to text messages were all broken promises and excuse after excuse. He promised on about 5 different occasions to come out and never did. He is extremely unprofessional. This is not how you treat customers and someone who spent $25,000. On a brand new roof. Find another company if you are planning on getting a roof done. You will be much better off. Less aggravation. There are better companies out their who treat customers more professionally. Horrible way to run a business. Do not trust him.

I wish I could actually rate his work, but I am having trouble even getting him to give me a quote and fix something. I even sent pics and said he could just give me an est from the pictures. I called him last year and also spoke with him and his wife to make the appointment in August 2017. For a month straight, he kept delaying coming to even give a quote. Eventually a hurricane was coming, so I said if you can't come this week, please let me know so I can get someone else out before the hurricane. More promises right up until 2 days before his wife said ""I am sorry, I have no words"". Because they are friends of the family, I decided to give them another chance this year. Didn't come last Thursday as scheduled but promised to come Friday. Never called or anything Friday. I texted him Tuesday, again no response. Finally Thurs night I said I am going to find another roofer and he said he will be here tomorrow. No thanks. 2 yrs in a row and you are still putting me off? Should have learned my lesson last year. If I can't trust you to be responsible about appts, I don't trust you to work on my roof. Sorry Hugo, not cool. I have all the texts to prove this.

Roughly 2 years ago I had a new roof replaced by Hugo and his workers. They took a long time to get it done. And on top of that they damaged one of my hurricane shutters and my garage door in the process and it did not have the audacity to acknowledge it or even fix it. To add insult to injury, Hugo told me shortly after he replaced the roof that he would wash and re-seal the flat roof and almost 2 years later it has not been done. He constantly makes up excuses about why it hasn't been done yet and that they'll come out to do it and it's yet to happen.
