Although we didn't end up using Abel's company (the quotes were very close), I wanted to give them a big thumbs up and thank you for helping us with the process. I would have been very comfortable based on the communications I had with the office and his son who came out to quote us.

As part of my solar installation, I needed to reroof my house. The solar installer (SolarOptimum) recommended AC Roofing. I couldn't be happier with the result. The AC team quickly scheduled an onsite inspection to get the dimensions and turned around a quote in days. Their installation team was prompt, fast and courteous. When rain threatened their send a worker out over the weekend to make sure that a waterproof base layer was in place. The end result looks much better than the original roof and I am confident that it will last a long, long time.

I can't say enough good things about AC Roofing. They did such a terrific job installing our new roof in December of '18. Additionally, when the rainy weather caused a few hiccups with our installation, the entire company did an amazing job of making things right as quickly as possible, including climbing up onto our roof during a midnight rainstorm to make sure our home was protected. Abel, Alan, Sandra, and Isaac all go above and beyond for their costumers, they operate honestly and with integrity, and we recommend them highly.

Our experience with AC Roofing was pretty excellent. Their rates were very competitive and they showed up on time and worked diligently, even as major fires burned nearby and the air was pretty smoky (we had offered to reschedule but they insisted on going ahead).

Abel and Alan were very responsive and answered all our questions thoroughly.

I do wish that they had done more to clean up the discarded, old roof pieces around our house. To be fair, they removed nearly 4 layers of old roofing and so there was quite a bit and they did make a decent attempt to clean up what they could. Also, they left some tar stains on our front porch and when I pointed them out, they told me what I could purchase to remove the stains myself instead of offering to do it for us (which I didn't ask for but would have been appreciated). Finally, some portions of the paint job they did around the new edges of the roof were a little sloppy; it's not a big deal because most of it is not visible but I would have appreciated a neater application near the front porch where people can see it. I guess a little less perfection is to be expected when the rates are so much lower than competitors! I would still recommend this company to friends and family.

Alan and his team did an excellent job on my roof tune up and installation of rain gutters. The work was completed quickly and was of a high standard of quality, at a fair price. Communication was excellent. I highly recommend them for all your roofing and gutter needs.

I found another roofer who completed a job for about 60% of what Abel estimated. The other roofer also didn't charge to provide an estimate. Abel charged $250, despite advertising ""free estimates"" on his business card. He quibbled about the difference between a free estimate (""only for a complete roof replacement"") and the inspection he made, but another roofer came out, went up on a ladder, took photographs, and charged nothing to give me a quote--same thing Abel did.

I think you can charge to provide estimates if you want to, but you shouldn't advertise ""free estimates"" on your business card and then play games with the customer about what is and isn't a free estimate.

I didn't choose AC Roofing; my solar company did. But I'm so glad they chose to partner with AC. Before getting my solar panels, I definitely needed a roof replacement - my roof was 32 years old and leaky. AC was super easy to work with - they came right when they said they would, and the tear-off took 1 day - it was nice and clean after. They made a few plywood and fascia replacements, painted where the new wood needed it, and then spent 4 days putting on the new roof. All the workers were very nice and very careful. After they were done, I did have a few issues and cleanup needed, but they came the very next day and made sure everything was perfectly to my liking. Great experience all around, and the new roof looks amazing.

Amazing experience all around! They came out the next day. They sent me a bid that was very competitively priced. The office staff had excellent communication and helped me made alterations to the estimate (added additional requests beyond what we initially talked about) to the original estimate. The team who came to perform the work was very personable and the end result looked fantastic. I usually don't take the time to leave reviews, but I was very pleased with AC Roofing! They are the real deal! Highly recommend!

Overall great job by Alan and his crew. Alan is very professional and knowledgeable in his craft. Roof on the garage had possible water damage and Alan communicated the possibility of replacing damaged rafters at a given price. Repairs were completed at a fair price with no surprises and new roof completed. I recommend Alan and AC roofing due to the level of integrity and craftsmanship they provide. Thanks AC!
