Mike (owner of Above the Rest Roofing and Construction) talked a good game when we asked him to fix a three small areas of our roof. He charged us the agreed upon price, but only fixed two of the three areas. I've called him dozens of times over about 6 months trying to get him to finish the job or repay part of the money, but on the times I am able to get a hold of him he is always evasive. Hopefully this review saves someone else a similar fate; I strongly recommend you avoid him and his company!

Mike Ennis is a liar and thief. This roofing company is incompetent and dishonest. I did in good faith, pay him $3,250 to purchase materials on July 20, 2018 to replace my roof the next week. It is now October 2018 and still no roof. I do not want his services and I do not trust him and his bogus company. He visited me and was clean shaven, appropriately dressed, spoke well, sounded knowledgeable about roofing and construction, had a business card, and seemed competent and legitimate. He had shingle samples and supposedly called someone and placed an order for shingles. Since July the time we agreed to a contract it has been all lies from a car accident, doctors, too busy with other jobs, firing crew supervisors who don't call me, and so on. He does respond to phone calls and text messages but the lies keep going. He's a fake and a con artist. I was fooled and learned a big lesson but I don't want other people getting scammed by this guy. He claims he has a BBB A+ rating but is a big phony and bogus. Mike Ennis is a sham. At this point, I have lost all trust in this con man Mike Ennis. Despite several conversations, and many repeated assurances, it is clear he never intends to stand by his work. Stay away from this guy he's a sham and will scam you!

It's been since June 2018 that I decided to hire Above the Rest Construction and Roofing to repair and install a new roof. Mike Ennis, the owner, was forwarded $4860, money that was issued by my homeowner's insurance, and never started the work. I have tried to contact him and his co-workers.

At this point, I believe he has stolen my money.

Stay away from this company. They are dishonest, and will take advantage of you.

Worst part, they have no address which makes it obvious they are thefts.

Avoid Mike Ennis and this company. Gave me a false quote on how much to fix my roof. Upon starting the job he told me he didn't have enough supplies to do the whole roof and just repaired half of the roof. Even worse, the part of the roof he fixed was not the area of the roof that was leaking. Do not use this company. I gave one star cause that is the minimum, this company and Mike actually are ZERO stars!

Incomeptent and dishonest. I paid them hundreds of dollars to repair a leaking dormer. It didn't work and owner Mike Ennis is not standing by his work. Repeated requests have been ignored. Avoid this guy!
