Sorry, I have to give them a low rating due to their gauging prices. They charged me $3450 for a small leak with no wood or stucco damage, and it only took them a few hours to complete. They gave me an estimate of $15,000 to replace my 1300 square foot roof. Two other roofing companies both gave me an estimate of $12,000. I had another leak, and Capistrano Roofing charged me $700 to repair that.

We hired Above It All Roofing to repair and re-roof our house after a tree damaged both the tiles and eaves during a storm. Project Manager Scott explained exactly what his team would do and how they would protect our new landscaping in the process. He also described what he expected to accomplish each day so we could monitor progress on the job. In the end, he and his team met all our expectations, performed the work as planned, and finished one day early. I needed roof repairs done after the huge storm in Feb 2017. David was my contact person and he was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The work was done as promised and on time. David even went above and beyond by talking with my insurance company to get my insurance payment to match the actual cost of repair. My insurance company was being very difficult but David was able to give them the information they needed to complete my claim.

I had 25 broken tiles replaced and a ""roof tune up"" which included caulking vent pipes, repairing flashing, replacing some missing mortar, cleaning the gutters, cleaning the roof. I have a Spanish style house that was built in the late 1920's with a red tile roof. The tiles were definitely showing their age and I had a few leaks over the years. I had my house tented for termites and the worker broke/damaged quite a few tiles so I decided it was time to do the roof. I saw an ad on Angie's list for ""Above It All Roofing"" and decided to call them for my first estimate. David Brunn, the project manager, answered and was extremely polite answering all of my questions concerning doing a lift and re-lay of my tiles. We set up an appointment and he showed up on time and based on his appearance and demeanor, I knew I had called the right company. I never felt pressured and he went into fine detail explaining how the roof replacement would take place. After explaining everything, he gave me a quote which I thought was a little high but then again this was a big job being a two story house and I wanted the best job I could get. I've always been a believer that you get what you pay for. Anyway, after talking to David, I knew I didn't have to get any other quotes. This was the company for me.

When the day arrived to start, David showed up with a large trailer and several workers arrived led by ""Manuel"" who was in charge. I wish I could remember the names of all the workers. I was able to communicate well with them which was important to me because I had a lot of questions during the project. Watching them dismantle my roof and replace the tiles was like watching a well choreographed ballet. They all showed up on time and put in a full days work everyday. David showed up everyday to check on things and if he couldn't he always called to, check with me. Each worker seemed like a real craftsman at their job and I was just blown away at how wonderful roof looks. The job came with a ten year warranty although I' sure that my roof will last many more years than that.

I have a rental house at the rear of my property that had a shingle roof over twenty years old and had David quote me a price for it also. I was so happy with my tile job that I told them to go ahead and do my rental also. They brought the trailer back, removed all of the shingles and re-roofed back house beautifully in two days. Again, I couldn't have been happier.

There's probably a lot of roofing companies out there but if you're looking to have any roof work done, you need to start off calling ""Above It All Roofing"" first. You might just save a lot of time and running around getting estimates. They did an awesome job for me at a fair price and I am really happy. Thank you David!
