Decided to go with Above All Roofing Services based on their Yelp reviews. Emile came by our house to address several shortcomings that the previous roofer had made (we bought the house that way). Emile came out to inspect the roof when he said he would, he was very thorough in his inspection and explanation of the issues we had, and provided a reasonable estimate for the work performed. Emile and his crew came out and performed the work and completed the job as promised and under the initial estimate. When the time comes to replace the roof, Emile will be getting a call from us.

I recently had a roof leak that was leaking into my garage and dripping as you went through the door to enter the garage. I called several roofing companies to get a quote, and this company was more than half the cost of the others. On the day I called, Emile was at my house within two hours. He went up on my roof, spotted the problem and took pictures of the problem area for me to see. He explained in detail what he would do to fix it. I had a separate problem with a power line from a power pole to my house that he said had to be fixed by PGE.

He called PGE or me and the next day at 9:00 am they showed up and fixed it. At 9:20 am Emile and his crew showed up, and within a few hours my roof was fixed
(and no more leaks with this last rain we just had).

He has a very funny and sense of humor and is very friendly, which makes it easy to work with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needed a new roof or roof repairs.

Emile was able to come out on the same day I called to inspect my roof for a leak. Thorough, took photos, got up on my roof in the rain and gave me suggestions for what needed to be done, not necessarily just selling me the most expensive product (full new roof, which I am well aware I need at this point). I would recommend Above All Roofing services for your roofing estimate or repair.

I called Above All Roofing Services to obtain a quote for re-roofing a portion of my house and back gazebos with wood shingles. Emile arrived with his crew on time. He was very friendly but professional. Their quote was the most reasonable and after reading their great Yelp reviews, I decided to use them. They did a beautiful job on my roof and gazebos. All of his crew were very polite; they made suggestions for future improvements without being pushy. Emile came to the job site daily and worked along side his crew to make sure the job was completed on time. They helped me with a couple of other household projects and coordinated some work for gutter repair. They also cleaned my roof and gutters for a very reasonable price. They were here a couple of months later to fix another part of the roof and re-cleaned the areas of the roof that needed it again...for no additional charge.

He also replaced our skylights. I cannot recommend Emile enough, he is a perfectionist about his work. His office staff, especially Pam is wonderful. She is responsive, organized, professional and friendly. I would be so lucky if all contractors were this amazing. I highly recommend Above All Roofing Services.

Emile, the owner of Above All Roofing Services has been in business for 30 years. He is knowledgeable about the industry and his prices are very competitive. Whenever our customers ask for a recommendation, we would not hesitate to refer Above All Roofing Services.

A leak suddenly showed up in our house after 8 years living there back when in the winter of 2011 we were getting pounded with ~5 weeks straight of rain. About 3 weeks into nonstop rain, there it was. I called based on the great reviews and the upfront pricing that I could not find for other roofers. He has ~$300 to do the emergency repair (depends on the type of roof, but it is clearly listed on the website). This leak was at the junction of flat roof area and pitched shingle. I was happy that he only charged the lower fixed rate, even though some of the repair was on the flat section (which is listed at a higher price).

I called at ~9am, mind you it has been raining nonstop for weeks so I assume he is pretty busy. He was able to get to my place late afternoon, albeit 30-45 min after when the assistant said that morning. He was overly apologetic about being tardy, but I was happy to get service within hours of calling. The next day (and many days after) we had another deluge... not a drop. Thanks Emile.

I called this company based on the good reviews here and would like to share my experience and advise caution when dealing with them. I have a small unconventional job which involves a corrugated roof on a garden room. Emile showed up on time with a smile and indeed is a charming fellow. He showed interest not only in helping me find a solution that would not involve replacing the entire room, but also in my home and collections. In fact we talked about many things and spent more time on that than actually discussing the details of the job. He said several times that he was going to take care of me and indicated he wanted to do the job.

We ended with him promising an estimate by the end of the week for replacing the roof support beams and new ""modified roof"" which I learned later is an asphalt and rubber material.

Well, the week ended and the following week I called him and he said he was too busy, but would get back to me in the next couple of days, which he did. His estimate was over $12,000, which about knocked me off my feet when he told me! While I did not tell him, I had the entire house re-roofed including new plywood, high-end ""Presidential"" shingles, new gutters, and insulation for less than that! When I told him that that price was way over my budget limit, he said he could do ""much better"" if he figured it ""time and materials"". While I was leery of this from prior experiences, I asked him to rework it and let me know the bottom line cost, which he said he would do.

Needless to say that was over two weeks ago and he never bothered to follow up.

I don't know about you, but any contractor that does not follow up and is evasive and overpriced in initial discussions, is not one I would want to have doing my projects.

I had a roof leaking for about 3 years. After calling several roofers who attempted to fix it over the years, none could. I came to Yelp and found Above All Roofing and gave them a call. They came out and looked at the roof and gave me an estimate, which seemed reasonable. I hired them to fix my roof. Fingers crossed that this time would be the last and real fix.

They found 3 roofs under the patches and the reason why no one could fix the leak. All the others never found the real problem and all did a half assed job at attempting to fix it. None could figure out why the roof continued to leak. Above All Roofing fixed the roof in a reasonable amount of time and at no inconvenience to me. And they stayed within the original estimate.

Afterward I needed the sheet rock in the house repaired which was damaged due to the leak. Again, they came and fixed it very professionally, and painted the hallway... all within budget.

Emile L'Hoir, the owner, is kind person who is very easy to work with. You would not go wrong or regret hiring Above All Roofing.

With all this rain, Emile's repairs are holding. Hooray!!! No leaks over our daughter's room! Our 3 year old roof was leaking where the second story meets the the first story. I am so glad that Above All Roofing could fix the other roofing company's mistakes for a reasonable amount. I just wish that we could have had him install out roof instead of the other company.

I had a small roof problem causing a leak last winter. I had contacted a well-regarded local contractor during the dry season (July/August) who diagnosed the problem and vowed to return to make a quick fix. Despite repeated calls to the office (four), no show. Another rain season comes up and the leak comes back. Typical bad contractor customer service. I swear they take courses in how to infuriate customers.

Based on Yelp reviews, I called Above All. Emil returned my call the first thing next morning and stopped by before 11:00AM. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were finished within 10 minutes. In keeping with Holiday spirit, no charge. Jeez, that was easy.
