Not only did they do a great job, but Jon was there to start the project, check on progress, and showed up next day to ensure that clean up was up to par. Which it was! Absolutely best cleanup I've ever had in any project. The only thing I could ask for is that Jon's company provide more services. I wish we could employ Able to help us with more projects!

Jon and the team did a great job re-roofing our home. His team worked quickly and effectively! His crew ripped off our old roof, put on new shingles, gutters and gutter shields in less than 4 days! Honesty, I don't like to complain and was very hesitant to share my negative experience. It's been about 9 months since I had Able replace our roof. Although our new roof looks beautiful, I am still to this day, finding large roof staples, nails, and old roof debris all around the front, back and side yards. I now wish I had saved and taken pictures of all the old, rusty staples, well over 100 in total so far. We are spending more time at home now with the shelter in place order and just found this nail coil in our shrubs. Enough is enough! Able was careless, messy and irresponsible. They knew we have children and dogs and their lack of project follow-up to ensure the safety of their clients shows their unprofessionalism.

Wow, I can't compliment any highly and recommend this company enough! They have integrity - professionalism - promptness - friendliness - honesty and open 7 days a week, etc. We have some water markings on the ceiling and called Jon on Sunday at 3pm. Jon responded right away and scheduled an inspection, estimate and needed repair within seconds for the first thing on Monday.

Then, their great technician Leon arrived at 9am on Monday; did a very thorough investigation and told us that the water marking is old and actually from an older repair left by another company from years ago. Therefore, we shouldn't have to worry about it; and charged us nothing. OMG! This is the top top top roofing company and there is no wonder that they got all of the 5 Star Yelps. I'd give them ten stars!

They came out to fix a leaky skylight and we're very happy with the service. No more leaking. The first guy I had out from another company just told me I needed to replace the skylight for $2000+. Really appreciate that Able Roofing was able to fix it. The only thing I would mention is be prepared for a big window of time for them to come -- they couldn't give me any shorter window of time than between 8am-5pm, and then they told me they would call before coming so I could be out and about as long as I was nearby, but of course they didn't and I was out when they came. But they waited for me and didn't seem too annoyed, so that was nice.
One other thing to be aware of -- the way it worked was the workers came, but then they called the manager/owner, who then called me to tell me the problem and ask if I wanted them to fix it, and then I told him yes, the workers fixed it, and they left. Not a big deal, but it's a little strange that the workers don't communicate directly with the customer and answer questions, etc.
All in all we were very happy with them and would definitely use them again!

Do yourself a favor and hire Jon of Able Roofing in Petaluma! Jon has just finished his 5th roof for me between my home, garage and rentals. He kept his word, stayed on budget and showed up exactly when he promised. His excellent team were great to work with and did all of the clean up for me at the end of each day. Jon really cares and does an excellent job. He also recommended other contractors that we needed which was such a help to us. I happily recommend Jon to anyone who cares about their home. He is the best!

Scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for a roof replacement 4 weeks in advance. A day before the appointment they called to cancel it with a ""something came up"" reason. On top of it they refused to give addresses to check out their completed roofing jobs. Gave them 2 stars because they actually called to cancel the appointment.

Adding 2 stars: the very next day after posting my original negative review Jon stopped by to apologize for what happened. I received the estimates and the addresses to check out within a few hours. He definitely cares about his business and reputation.
