When hiring repairmen for your home, trust is everything, even more so for your roof. Prior to payment, Tim Abel will promise anything and everything. Well we learned our lessons about too good to be true. Once the money is paid, he just gives you the run around. He even promised several times in writing to give us a partial refund, then finally after weeks of not sending the refund check, he writes a super long email about how he thought it through and decided he deserves to keep all of the $2125, since he normally charges $750 just for coming over and inspecting a roof. Which complete garbage, since he had already inspected/repaired the roof/leaks for $1375, less than a week prior. If he sincerely believed he deserved to keep all the money, then why would he offer to refund the money several times and promise to send a check? If he was remotely honest, wouldn't he preemptively tell us he changed his mind? Instead he promises to send the partial refund several times, only to ghost us for weeks and then after we contact him repeatedly asking why we haven't received the check, he writes his email saying no, I've changed my mind. Long story short, this man does not honor his word. And what is a warranty worth if the person giving it is a known liar?
