I should have read the reviews here before I signed on with ABC Restoration. They charged me $800 a day for a deep house cleaning following a mouse infestation. The first day, they showed up 3 hours late, and it took 3 people to clean a foyer, one bathroom and some of the ceiling vents. The second day, the cleaning crew showed up at 2:00 PM .. this time, 2 people. One of them was over 70 years old, and after a few hours of cleaning about 4 windows, he quit saying he was too tired. Day 3... it took one person 6 hours to clean the bathroom and another six hours to clean one bedroom. Needless to say, the work would not have gotten done in the three days without me cleaning. So, there I was on my hands and knees working and cleaning more hours than the cleaning crew. And they were not professional cleaners. One was dusting my antiques with paper towels while two others were leaving their water bottles on my furniture. Trying to be nice, I paid the full bill, which was about a 90% overcharge. No good deed goes unpunished. They removed $2,000 of personal property from my house for cleaning, and never returned it... already four times they have told me they were coming out to return the property, but each time, they don't show up and do not call with an explanation. When I call the office to inquire they tell me that I am not an emergency and do not take priority. RUN FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!

I wish I could give negative stars. DO NOT use this company, spare yourself the time and hardship! We have had the WORST experience with ABC Restoration. Our repairs took this company from November to March to finish their job. Here are some highlights of our Workers don't call, come late, or don't show up at all. They spilled Coke all over our floor, never cleaned up with nails and debris everywhere, broke down our baby gate and never called to tell us. They splattered paint on our floors and curtains, it took them 4 tries to repair our drywall with the texturing and 3 times to paint the room adequately. They tried to hide poor texturing with paint. Their paint is sloppy and everything had to be redone or touched up. EVERYTHING.
It took them two tries to install new doors/door frames and had to have it all redone by another employee. NOW - we just had water pouring in from the top of our door. We had another company come to determine the cause and make the repairs. They found that it is due to the door being installed incorrectly... and instead of caulk around the frame ABC Restoration used NOTEBOOK PAPER TO STUFF around the door as insulation to save money. This is why we have water coming into our house from the top of the door frame on heavy rains. We are paying thousands to redo what we already paid ABC to do - a hideous job!

If only they had negative star ratings! DO NOT USE THEM!!! My 1 bedroom vacation condo's restoration and addition of an extra bath was horribly miss managed. It took over a year for them to complete! They did a horrible job on the tile install and told me I had to live with it. They left old food sitting everywhere. They left soiled toilet paper in the trash can. Lots of stuff went missing (roomba, wet/dry vac, tool set and power drill... I'm still finding stuff missing). The guy is a bully and not at all pleasant to deal with. One of their project managers had 3 different plumbers tell me that the toilet in the bath shouldn't be installed where they ultimately installed it.

Avoid this company at all costs!!! I cannot stress this enough!! Save yourself the grief! I've never written a review for a company so trust me when I say this company is so bad I had to warn people! I hired ABC after my home flooded during Harvey, my 1200 sq ft house got 2' of water and it took them 10 months to even come close to finishing it. The work they did was some of the worst work I have EVER seen. There was so much they did incorrectly or poorly that it is too much to list on here, (poor sheetrock work, doors on backwards, windows not installed properly with window sills at a severe downward angle, damaged door jambs, trim nails not painted over, had to paint the walls twice due to poor quality sheetrock & two different shades of paint on the walls, door time damage to the outside of my house, mistakes in the floor install, interior door jambs not lined up and doors won't close, the list goes on and on). They hired inexperienced sub-contractors to perform sloppy substandard work who were disrespectful of my home. Some of the worst contractors left beer cans lining my window seals inside, they threw their lunch trash in my front yard (jack in the box, sonic & hartz chicken bags and drink glasses all over my front yard), ziplocks, plastic forks just thrown on my porch and front yard, they left half eaten chicken bones laying on my countertops in my house, they brought their own microwave and hooked it up, used my refrigerator like it was their own, urinated in the toilet that had no running water hooked up to it, just to name a few things). On the business end, every aspect of dealing with this company was a nightmare and a huge battle, I had four different project managers which was chaos each time, most of the office staff were unfriendly and arrogant with a 'how dare I bother them with something as trivial as the work on my home"" type of attitude. The owner and office staff practice what I would consider to be unscrupulous, dishonest and fraudulent billing practices. I was overcharged or duplicate billed thousands of dollars! I removed $6000.00 worth of charges that they did not perform but my final bill went up instead of down. After I compared the old bill to the new bill, there were more (different) items added back to my bill that I did not purchase, and other items prices that miraculously doubled or tripled and new items were added with vague descriptions. I can only advise that if you hire this company, please review your bill very very VERY carefully. If I could give ABC a negative star, I would!

It was a great company to work with. We had a lot of water damage during the Harvey flood and contracted ABC Restoration to do our water mitigation / demo and build back and they did a really great job. Really affordable and great management and team. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a TERRIBLE experience with this company. The quality of work was extremely poor and the contractors/management/ownership are not people I would EVER want to deal with again. I generally do not write reviews at all, but people need to be informed about who they let into their homes and businesses. I do not recommend AT ALL.

I would not recommend ABC Restoration to anyone. They clearly do not have the time for potential clients. ABC Restoration was referred to me by my Home Owners Insurance carrier for a patch on my roof. They came out and looked at the repair, sent me a quote for the slope and after a week of requesting, also a quote for just the patch. I let them now on May 11 that I would like to be scheduled for the patch repair. I was told that I would be added to the schedule and that due to weather (rain) she would let me know at a later date when they would be able to make it out. I let her know that we were closing on our house on June 5 and would need the repair made before then. This shouldn't be a problem, as long as they have 1 day without rain, was her response. A week later, May 18, I sent a follow up email. I was told that I was ""at the top of the list"" and as soon as the weather was good they would be out. On May 19, the next day, I got an email from them stating that due to the peak of my roof they only have 1 roofer able to make the repair and he was not available to meet my deadline (which was 3 weeks away) and that I should use someone else.
If this was in fact the case, they should have told me weeks ago when I had scheduled the repair. I stated that this was not acceptable and asked that a supervisor call me. I didn't receive a call back until 2 full days later.

I have since called my Home Owners Insurance carrier and let them know that they should not be referring this Vendor to any more clients. They clearly cannot return calls or emails in a timely manner. Also, their customer service is lacking.

I understand not being able to meet deadlines, but why should it take more than 3 weeks to get a roof repair?

I used ABC for my first home renovation. We added another room and a small garage by closing in my out side porch. It looks great !!!!! They were Fast, Friendly and went out of there way for all my little changes. A month project only took them a little over three weeks and 4 or 5 guys. The house looks like it was built that way I cant believe it!! My roof is over 30 years old and I am also talking to them about roofing replacement with GAF and I am super excited!!!!
