The DuraLock company, before they were sold to Gerard, produced a stone coated steel roofing that looked really cool. I trusted the ABBA roofing company because of a referral. Bad mistake. I spent well over $40,000 on what initially was a beautiful stoned coated steel roof. Within 36 months all of the beautiful blue stones had detached from the roof. I then discovered that this was happening all over. Even my friend who referred me had his roof re coated. The ABBA group denied liability so I go an attorney. I settled for a repair by simply painting the metal and be done with it. ABBA refused to do what they promised. Now, years later, I have an ugly horrific brown roof with blue granules all over the gutter area. Either stone coated steel is a crappy product or the 3 companies involved are simply covering for each other. Regardless I am out a lot of money with zero help from the scum bags that sell and install the product. Save a lot of money, time and heartache by avoiding ABBA, Gerard or Duralock products.
