Requested a quote because I need some shingles replaced on my roof. Got a caller (think his name was Al) who asked a few questions, then tersely informed me they charged a ""minimum $500"", obviously not interested in small jobs.

Rude tone, acted like I was wasting his time with just a repair.

EDIT - owner called me up just a couple minutes ago, chewing me out because he did not like his review. Should add this guy has a bad temper. Dropped him from 2 stars to 1 because of the tantrum he threw.

EDIT 2 - I see the response. Talk about a bitter response. First off, EVERYTHING I wrote was completely true. Maybe don't insult people the next time you are having a bad day. Second, I was clear in my initial search that I needed a SMALL job. If you don't do small jobs, just don't reply as if you do. Third, both phone calls with you were rude and nasty on YOUR end, sorry I am not obligated to let you insult me just because you feel like it.

Maybe you just had a bad day, but you were rude and nasty. It's not smart to expect people to just take that because you feel like being a bully.

I received a call back within 45 minutes. Alex came out to take a look at the job (replace 6 vents and 4 bundles of shingles). He gave me a competitive quote, I approved, a team showed up the same day. Alex and his crew at AAM Roofing understood the urgency of getting this repair completed. They worked until 10:30 pm and got the job done.

WHO DOES THAT!!!!! AAM ROOFING, THATS WHO.

I will definitely refer them every chance I get.

Alex showed up at the house within a few hours for the quotation. Other companies were stating it would be a week or more, just to give a quote.
He explained how the gutters were not installed correctly in the first place without any flashing. He installed it in.
The guy who ""repaired"" the gutters 22 months previously tried to blame the damage on the rain, and other odd excuses.

AAM and I agreed on the price, and he finished the work the next morning!
That's what I'm talking about!
