I was so impressed with the great service and great price from this company. I had been needing a roof for several years and talked to a number of companies over the years. I finally had the money to move forward and get 4 quotes. I planned on 3 final quotes, but for some reason, I learned of this company and thought, what the heck, I'll get a fourth quote. So glad I did! This company happened to be the cheapest, but money is not my first consideration. I have to feel I can trust the contractor and his/her company After owning homes for over 40 years, I've learned a bit how to deal with contractors. I was impressed with A-1 Budget roofing from first meeting Al.

The job was scheduled for a month out, started on time and finished in less than a week. They did a wonderful job and helped me with getting plenty of vents on my roof. They were very timely, kept in touch throughout the project, and the overages (there are always those with an old roof) were less than I expected by several thousand dollars. I would refer them without hesitation.

Back in 2005 we were selling our home but were highly recommended by our realtor to replace our shake shingled roof. A-1 came in did an awesome job without any delay. Very professional and timely.

We asked Albert to come over and assess our roof while we were in escrow on our home. He immediately located where he believed the leaks to be coming from and he provided a prompt, fair quote for the whole re-roof. We hired him months after the quote was provided to perform the work, and we were scheduled within two weeks of contract signing. Albert was easy to communicate with and a pleasure to work with. He originally quoted 4-5 working days to complete the job, and his team was done in 3 days, including adding an unplanned curb for a new skylight installation. The team worked quickly and efficiently, and I feel confident that they did a solid job.

A1 Budget Roofing is my go-to roofer whenever I need roofing repairs. I know I can count on them. I have in the past and once again they did a great job for me. I called them on Christmas Eve with a leak in my roof. They came out the first business day after the holiday to give me an estimate and repaired the roof the same day. When they got up on the roof, they found several broken tiles and replaced them at no additional charge. They also provide a two-year warranty on their work. I highly recommend them.

We needed our roof replaced prior to installing Tesla's solar panels. I shopped around at 4 different local roofers and Albert's quote came out to be the most affordable. A-1 budget roofing uses the same high quality shingles as the other companies and their crew was efficient at replacing my roof within 3 days. You do want to be very specific on the work that you want to be done and this is with all contractors that you get quotes from (typically when your roof is aged, your south facing fasica boards need to be replaced as well).

The added bonus with Albert's company is that he can install solatube through your roof for just the labor cost if you buy the materials yourself. we definitely took advantage of this and love the result.

Albert came out to give an estimate on my water heater vent leaking on the roof. I showed him pictures I took from walking up there (I know, that's not the norm), he quickly identified why it was leaking and provided me for FREE the proper supplies to fix it myself (if I wanted to). Well, I did and as of today it is raining hard and there's no leak. Not only was he correct in why it was leaking, but how awesome is it that he did what he did? Even though I got 3 estimates, I can say that if the leak returns, I will be calling A-1 first, just because I appreciate how he does business.

I had a dark wet spot about 1 ft. in diameter on my ceiling in the corner of the second floor study. Uh-oh - there's a leak somewhere on the roof (I have a tile roof that is 21 years old). Looked outside and determined it MIGHT be the flashing by where the chimney is.

Looking on Yelp and sending out the quote estimate out to a few roofing companies, I got a mixed bag of responses. This was after the heavy rains in December 2019, so many were very busy, and couldn't come out for a couple weeks.

The first company (very high ratings on Yelp) called and I explained the situation. He explained to me that I probably needed a new roof, but if I chose not to replace the whole roof, his company only replaces whole sections of roof at a time, and looking at my home on Google Maps, that section where the leak was supposed to be was about 1/3 of my roof. So that quote (mind you, no one ever came to my house to verify the severity or actual location of the roof leak) was very a detailed proposal for $6800. I did see this same company repair a whole section of roof for my neighbor's garage across the street...

Another company, again over the phone, said that I would need a new roof soon too and explained that if I just wanted a spot repair, he would cut an 8-foot perimeter around the leak when identified and isolated. Though very friendly, he also did not come on-site to look before quoting me a price. Phone quote was $3000.

A third popular veteran-owned roofing company made me fill an online request on THEIR website and after some back-and-forth to determine I did not want a new roof (when they already had all the info from my Yelp request) wanted to charge $149 to come out and inspect. I did not take them up on this offer.

Then my father suggested I call A-1 Roofing. A pleasant lady returned my call within 24 hours and a few days later the owner, Albert, ACTUALLY CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE to inspect the wet spot leak (free of charge). He did agree it was the flashing by the roof; in fact he had just repaired the same model house, same leaking area previously - and his estimate was $700 with a 2-year warranty on the repair. (Albert also added that tile roofs can last up to 40 years).

A few days later, Albert's roofer came out to repair the flashing by the chimney. He also checked the entire roof and repaired a couple of tiles. The service was timely, efficient, friendly and effective. No more wet spot on the ceiling - it is already dry!

YAY! A+++ to A-1 Budget Roofing!!! Highly recommend if you want a roof repair and not an upsell to a new roof.

Terrible service. Gave me a bid and we agreed on price. They then sent guys out to do repairs. Told me they didn't have the right latters and would return in 1 hour, never came back.

I contacted them today and they told me that they couldn't do the repairs.
