Max and team are great. We bought a house with new roof but subpar job on shingles. During strong winds a couple years ago, the shingles started coming off in large sections on 1/3 of the roof. Max showed up for the estimate on fixing just the damaged section vs the whole thing (I asked for this) but he didn't try to upsell us. Fast forward 3 years and the other side of the roof started to fall apart due to wind so we called Max again. Same great service and friendly personality. Trustworthy, responsive, completed the job on time and on budget and his team left our yard cleaner than when they got there. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Max and team are our go-to for roofing needs.

I inherited my home two months ago, and unexpectedly received a letter from the insurance company that the roof needed to be replaced within the next 6 months. I haven't lived in this area for 20 years, and was worried that I had no contacts for finding a company that was reliable and immediately available. By luck, I found Max and his crew at A1 Roofing, and couldn't be more pleased. He gave ne the lowest of three estimates, was able to start the week after selecting his services, and were done within 4 days. There have been no problems with the roof since that time!

Amazing. If I had one word to describe my experience, it would definitely be ""amazing"". In the middle of this crisis, our roof was leaking water directly into my son's bedroom. The last thing we needed was this kind of problem in the middle of everything that's going on. I sent messages to four roofing companies and Mary from A1 responded almost immediately. This was at 10 PM on a Sunday! She scheduled a roofer to come out the next day and he showed up exactly within the one hour window she gave me. He was incredibly courteous, knowledgeable, and did all of the work including patching and fixing other problems he found while up on the roof. They stuck to the quoted price which they gave me before he even showed up. What is it possibly a little more expensive than others who eventually responded and wanted to first come out and give me an estimate? Maybe, I will never know. And I will never care. These people responded fast, were incredibly responsive when I had a couple of questions (including sending me pictures they took of the roof in case I want to make a claim on my insurance), and came out and did the job quickly, professionally, and well. It's not only a great roofing company, they are great human beings. Thank you very much!

How can you trust a company that does not show up to their first apponintment? Very unprofessional business. This review is not for the quality of their labor. I cannot review it because they did not show up for their first appoinment to inspect the roof for leaks. I called them last week and they scheduled me for today, a week later. I informed the tenant who is frustrated with the leak. So tenat scheduled his time and waiting for them to show up but no one arrives. And they are telling me now that they are very busy and cannot come. And Mary the dispatcer asks me if i want to schedule again for next Friday which is 9 days from the missed appointment. Unbelievable. If your time is not valuable and do not have respect to yourself, you can use this company.

It may be strange to give a review even though no services were done.

My parents needed their roof done and I contacted the many Yelp roof companies. Mary from A1 American Builders & Roofing replied back immediately and kept in touch with me every time I replied back to her. They went out to my parents' property and gave a free estimate. Unfortunately, my parents went with another company that was referred by a friend. I believe my parents would have gone with A1 because of Mary, her great customer service, and the person (don't know the name) who went out and gave the free estimate.

A1 is the BEST! They were on my roof less than two hours after I first called, right in the middle of a huge storm, as water was pouring into my attic. It turns out the drain on our roof was blocked by debris from the storm, and water had pooled high enough to come pouring in through a vent. If it wasn't for their quick response time, the whole roof could have caved in. They're professional, courteous and very quick to respond. Definitely keeping them on my speed dial.

A1 just replaced my whole roof. We were very pleased with their work. Max was one of the first to give us a estimate. The estimate was thorough and included items that other companies wanted to charge us extra for. The work was completed in less than a week. Max checked on the work everyday to make sure things were going as planned and kept us updated daily. A1 took care of all the permits.
Would recommend for anyone looking to replace their roof without hesitation. 5 stars for sure.
