Stay far away. They did a great job painting my house, I'll give them that. The roof is another story. They will ghost you when it comes time for warranty repairs, not to mention they didn't fix it right in the first place.

And Teresa. Good luck. She has a horrible way of communicating and you will lose your sanity trying to help her understand what you are saying. She will also never let you talk to her husband, Paul. So you will be forced to deal with her.

There are so many other companies. Shop around.

We Just Finished Doing our Roof with Paul and Crew and could not be HAPPIER!!! Paul and Teresa were so Nice and just Excellent from Start to Finish ,and the experience with Teresa in the office was allways Awesome and with Paul at my home was just excellent, there both so very nice and thorough and My Roof looks Great! So Gratful for Paul n Teresa and Company and we will be using them again for Outside Home Painting as I look forward to seeing what a great job they do with it. I will and am Definitely Referring him to Everyone i know and to all my Customers most Definetly!!! Please give them a Try you will be as Happy as i am with ALL! Thanks very much Paul and Teresa you guys are Awesome!!!!!

A Stella just finished my roof and I couldn't be happier!
We got 6 quotes, they were not only the least expensive (note I didn't say cheapest), Paul even offered to just add a new later of shingles because we only had 1 layer (3 is maximum) for thousands less. I wanted to see the wood condition, so I had them strip the roof bare.

Underlayment is upgraded vs. felt
Shingle alignment is perfect
Crew was CLEAN and courteous
Cleanup after completion was excellent
Installed solar fans for parts cost only
Wood replacement was VERY reasonable considering cost of wood today
Employees are happy and treated well

Final price was what was quoted - no upcharges!
Highly, repeat highly, recommend!!!
I'm so happy that now I'm getting a new quote for painting the interior.

Had this company do my roof 2 months ago. Paul Payne roofer was the man that I seen only once the entire job that gave me a quote. I hired them and his crew did all the work, only took about 3 days and they took all the old materials and seemed to do a good job as it looks great. Once job was done Paul called to apologize that he wasn't here during the work and he was going to come by to inspect the work his guys did. Well, he never came by or showed up afterwards like he said he was going to. For some reason the city roofing inspector didn't come by either or didn't say the inspection was approved either on the paper work left outside. I called ALL the phone numbers provided, Paul and his wife and the business number, I left messages with them to call me back and they never bothered to ever get back to me at all. I had more work for them to do, but when Paul wasn't here the entire time the roofing job was being done, I found out from his top foreman that he was working on his house in Arizona and wasn't in the state while the job was being done. All communications during the job was through his wife Theresa. I WOULD HAVE had more work for them in the painting department but I am left to assume and believe this company doesn't exists anymore (their website is now gone) and Paul & Theresa probably moved to her house in Arizona, and they knew they were moving or going out of business. I'm not 100% certain about that but Paul & his wife both flaked on ever calling me back (after the job was finished) so I'm left to assume that they knew they were moving and closing up their business. They could have had the courtesy of calling me and just let me know at least instead of not returning my phone calls or messages I left. Anyways, I would have given a better review had they called me back and had Paul came by like he said he was going to. Now I can only hope my roof doesn't have any leaks come this next winter. I seen the legal troubles this guy Paul had just a couple years ago recently also and that makes me a bit nervous. The job looks good and I can only hope it is. Anyways, that was my experience using this roofing company. After paying them and doing business with them I got no call backs and them both ignoring my messages and calls ticked me off. I suppose they knew they were maybe moving or something and that was nobody else's business maybe. ?? Doesn't matter now. I just HOPE my roof doesn't leak in the near future and that they did a decent job. An old Simi Valley 20th Century Realtor named Don Daugherty referred this Paul Payne Roofing (so Don called them) to me. I can only pray that Don Daugherty gave me a good reference to a good roofer. All said and done I didn't like their communications afterwards.
