This is the first review I've ever written but I feel this company warrants one. Due to the time of year (rainy season) and the small nature of the work I was having difficulty finding a company who would do the small repairs. Time was a critical factor. I am pleased to say that Joe, Jeff and the team at Old Time Roofing really came through for me. I was not on site for the repairs so there was a trust factor involved. They were very professional and did exactly what they said they would. This customer was VERY satisfied!!

I was afraid recent damage to my roof would require an expensive roof replacement. This company treated me in an outstanding way from my first phone call to paying the bill. Jimmy recommended a repair after checking the entire roof for any other issues. He arrived right on time as did the repair man Chris. Its rare to find any contractors who respect your time and get to you right on the minute as scheduled. Chris took the time to explain what he was going to do to replace the damaged shingles and gave me confidence he wanted to do a lasting and excellent job. The women in the office were very friendly and I cant say enough about my experience. I have been in this area for thirty five years and this company far exceeded my expectations. They were recommended by a good friend for whom they did two jobs. My highest recommendation to anyone needing roofing.

A large oak tree collapsed on my Seminole home during the night that hurricane Irma came through the area. I contacted a Florida licensed contractor that I knew and he repaired the damage to the house. He told me that my roof needed immediate replacement (he does not do re-roofing) so based on the good reports from neighbors, I contacted Old Time Roofing. Their representative Jack showed up and even though I told him that a licensed contractor opined that I needed a new roof, he happily reported that my roof probably had a couple of more years of life. Although I have not used them yet - and I will when I have a new roof installed - they deserve a 5 star review for their honesty in a time when lot of people are being taken advantage of post hurricane Irma! I wish more people/businesses were like Jack and Old Time Roofing.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!! They put a new roof on my house and detached garage 12 years ago. At the time, I was told a new 3M underlayment used on the space shuttle would provide total protection even if every shingle were blown off. They provided a 10 year warranty. A few months after the warranty had expired, I began having multiple roof leaks in my home. By multiple, I mean up to or exceeding 10. Since it was no longer under warranty, I paid over $2,000 to have 1/3 of my shingles replaced. I was told the nails were rusting causing the leaks .

In the past two months, I have spent over $24,000 having my ceilings replaced due to mold as a result of Old Time Roofing's poor workmanship and the leaks that occurred as a result. This past weekend, my contractor who replaced my ceilings is unable to complete the job because 2 more leaks have occurred.

When I contacted the company, they argued that I live in Florida, and it should be expected. This company should be shut down, and all customers should be reimbursed.

I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as seeking legal action.

I had my flat roof done by this company and do not recommend them. One of the workers was smoking in my backyard and they left for lunch. Thank goodness I was home for lunch because the cigarette set my backyard on fire. While the office staff was prompt and professional in dealing with me, I cannot say enough poor things about the staff. In addition, they were supposed to pick up all old nails from the prior roof but tonight while taking my dog out, (two months after the work) I stepped on one which punctured my foot. I have small children and a dog which could have been worse than me stepping on it. I do not recommend this company. Sloppy work by the men on the site and no concern about potentially burning down my house. As the work man said ""it's not like it would really burn, it's block"". Seriously the roof is wood man!

Fast and professional service from the start. David was very attentive. Price was comparable to other quotes. They did leave a bunch of debris behind, didn't move furniture back, and broke a light; however, as soon as I contacted them, they were apologetic, replaced the light and cleaned everything up.

I recently had my shingle roof and flat replaced. Workers tried to take a lot of short cuts. Did not have a crew big enough to tear off roof and they were working past dark. They left a lot of debris around house with plenty of nails on ground and on roof. I had to go around and pick up nails on roof so they did not shingle over them. When job was done my tapered roof over the flat roof was flat and water did not drain. Nails were left all over roof and in gutters. Edges of shingles were not sealed down where they met flat roof. Vent stack lead flashing was damaged from them pounding it down with hammers. The owner,Ted Williams,is very argumentative and had a BS song and dance for everything. I have worked with 100's of contractors over the years and they have to be one of the worse! Their price may be good, but the work will not be good.

This company and group of workers are absolutely great. I'm writing on behalf of my parents who live in Clearwater, FL, and worked with David on replacing their large roof. David and his guys were extremely professional and willing to help, especially in the budget area. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Old Time Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof!

I don't know where to begin except they perform the WORST WORKMANSHIP and don't give a crap that it's so. I had TWO roofs replaced by these shoemakers and BOTH leaked within 2 years and they never fixed the problems or made it right. The owner even came out and attempted to fix one of the messes and wanted to charge me for it while under the warranted time period!!! I had competent roofer, who does know that water flow is affected by the force of gravity, REDO both roofs at substantial cost, over $10,000. This company is nothing but trouble. TOTALLY INCOMPETENT AND DO NOT BACK UP THEIR WORK!
