We wouldn't recommend A Manos to re-shingle a doghouse.
Their inability to complete a job in a timely manner is fraught with excuses. Disappearing for days leaving you to send text after text trying to find out when (or if) they plan on coming back. It's pathetic when you receive a text from the owner stating ""I have a case of (ig)noring you today"" Seriously? An owner or a 5 year old?
They've left strips of nails all through our yard making mowing grass a dangerous & possibly deadly chore. The hours spent searching for & cleaning them up. Cleaning trash, nails & staples from a planter, the yard and the porch were things that any other contractor would ensure were completed on a daily were left up to us.
The final straw with A Manos was having twice failed to secure a the tarp over an open portion of the roof. One we caught and tied down and one we unfortunately did not, causing our garage to flood and that ceiling along with a bedroom ceiling to sustain water damage.
Their carpentry skills are another horror story better left for another time.

A Manos is excellent. I had 6 companies give me estimates. Mike took the time to explain everything to me and had a competitive price. He also helped me with an insurance claim. All calls/texts were answered promptly. The crew was excellent and did a great clean up. One of my neighbors also used A Manos and was very happy.

To begin I secured 5 bids from local contractors and then compared what they told me about my roof with what I already knew. Long story short I selected A Manos and was not disappointed. Their cost was reasonable and they did a good job. Better yet, they stand behind their work. They did a great job cleaning up afterward too.

During some heavy rains in July, I called A Manos Roofing requesting an inspection and estimate. There was water entering my back room. I was told that there was roof damage and gave them a deposit of $600. Was also told the work would be done in 2 weeks. I found out that the water was not coming from the roof that it was actually from a foundation issue. I had the foundation fixed and even through several months of heavy rain and a tropical storm I had no more water. I called the owner of A Manos roofing and explained the situation two months ago and was told I would get a refund. I still don't have the refund and now he is telling me he will only provide a service credit. I will never use his company because of all of the misinformation and the broken promise of a refund. He told me $600 meant nothing to him but it means a lot to me. Why do companies feel like they can treat customers this way?

I bought a house recently where Manos was the previous owner's roofer. They attempted to fix a leak Twice (!) It was also listed on the Inspection Report for which they were brought out by the previous owner. The leak is still there in the same spot, they came out last week, looked at it, confirmed that it was under warranty and then proceeded to send me an estimated for US$1800 as they would have to work at a different place on the roof to fix it. So, they didn't fix the leak twice (!) nor honor their warranty. I cannot recommend them

Was VERY happy with the entire process, every step of the way. Found that their price was at the low end, when compared to other estimates. This concerned me but after working with them (Ron, Kim and Carl) I found that they ALL were SUPER nice and informative. It gave me a ""feel good"" feeling to go with them. Glad I did. Top quality and kind service!!!!!!

The crew that came out were professional and very thorough. I was impressed with the attention to detail. The gutters were reattached and everything was left very clean. Both Mike and Tim responded quickly to any questions or concerns. I would enthusiastically recommend this company.

Overall, very good, with one minor hiccup.

We purchased a new home knowing that it needed a roof replacement. We really respected the man who inspected our home, and he sees a lot of roofs, and he recommended A Manos Roofing. We called the owner, and he sent a crew out to do an estimate. Once we closed on the home, we called him right back, and he got his guys on it. He was responsive, and his crews came on time.

The roof took a few days, and active rain in the area did slow them down, so that was fine. However, when we came home on the first day, we saw that there was some damage that occurred when they threw old shingles off the roof. There were scratches on the freshly painted house and on the brand new air conditioning unit.

I do get angry easily, so I called up the owner angry, and he responded angrily. So, that took off one star. However, even though he yelled back at me on the phone, he did have his area supervisor, Tim, call me back. Tim was amazing and saved the contract for them. He came to my house promptly and addressed the issue. He calmed me down. He made it clear that ""I want to do whatever I need to do to make you a satisfied customer."" He meant it. Although I wasn't impressed with how the owner responded to me, Tim knows how to manage customers, set expectations, and recover the relationship when something goes wrong.

When it rained, we found a spot where they had neglected to caulk, and Tim came within an hour and fixed it himself. We were having a stove delivered on a Saturday, and again, Tim came out within an hour and moved their trailer out of the way so that the delivery people could get in.

Our inspector is going to come back and inspect the new roof so that we can get the wind protection discount on our homeowner's insurance. And I will amend this review if he finds any problem. In the meanwhile, I can honestly say this company, through their guy Tim, provides excellent customer service and is remarkably responsive.
