We put on our new roof about a year ago and upon arrival and meeting with the owners, we were duped by their overly friendly first impression. We trusted this company w our hard earned money and that was a HUGE MISTAKE!!! Once the papers were signed, we could never get ahold of them! We had no clue what was going on, when the roof would be replaced, and they even changed my tile choice without notifying my. When I left an angry message, they finally called back and said ""my original choice was not approved by the city"". LIES! I have since seen homes w the exact roof I wanted. If that wasn't bad enough, the gutters were hung HORRIBLY and nobody would return a call or come out to fix it. On the corners, the gutter it literally not attached and is leaving a huge gap. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!! You work hard for your money, put it with an honest company that cares.

I Called for A Licensed roofing after watching a roof go up in my neighborhood of Wilton Manors . There was a sign with the company name and phone number so I called my roof was leaking from the underside into the walls and the wood had rotted and I needed a repair. I phoned and Spoke with Sarah. I explained what my take on the roof was and that I saw the company sign in my neighbors yard. Sarah spoke about how great the company was and that she would handle my repair. She told me she would call me back with a time to be placed on their schedule. After 2 days of waiting no call back from Sarah, I phoned and told her I didn't lije not knowing when or if she would call back to schedule my roof repair. After 2 days, Sarah quickly said her guy would be out today. Finally, A Licensed roofer shows up. Crawls into the crawl space and up on my roof. He informed me his boss Randy or Sarah would call me with the estimate and to schedule the repair. After waiting several days, I never heard back from A Licensed Roofing. I would not recommend this company at all. They caused me more headaches, the days waiting, I should have been searching for a professional follow through company. A-Licensed Roofing has horrible business practices. Wilton Manors Neighbors Stay Away!

Replacing/fixing the roof of your home is stressful. We called so many companies and received many proposals. I am SO GLAD we went with A Licensed Roofing. Sarah and Randy are the owners of the company and THEY are the ones you will work with. They genuinely care about their clients. They gave my husband and I their cell phone numbers just in case we had any questions at all. (And we spoke with them everyday while the work was being done.) My roof was in very bad shape. They gave us a very reasonable estimate AND told me about the potential things that may possibly add to that price. The point man on site was Julio. He is very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions regarding the specifics of my roof. The workers did a phenomenal job cleaning up every single day. If you go with ALR (and I reccomend you do) you won't regret it. The workers accidentally tore a hole in my screen enclosure and A Licensed Roofing hired a screen company to come and fix that for us free of charge as soon as the roof was done.

This company has done work in our neighborhood so we contacted them. We have now contacted them a total of 8 times, and still have not gotten the quote they came out to do. I am 8 months pregnant and practically begged on a voicemail at the office for them to send us the quote so we can make a decision (want two comparable quotes before getting work done; not the entire roof just a portion) and get this taken care of, after my husband has spoken to and/or called them 6-7 times already after they did the quote. If it wasn't enough money for them that they didn't want to do the job, we would have at least appreciated a call back or notification of some sort. Don't expect any type of customer service if you use them.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Wanting to support women owned propritiors , I gave a second chance to a no show/ no call business. On my (unbelievable) second scheduled estimate, another no show/ no call. Stayed home from work. Follow up from me call yielded a six o'clock arrival. One worker, not on roof ,was walking around my back area and it felt like a casing. Estimate from owner Sarah was 1700 bucks because "" you have a big problem and it will be an all day job requiring 3 workers"". She was able to readily call regarding the price and push for commitment unlike the scheduling debacle. My contractor neighbor had it fixed with one man in 3 hours of direct labor. The cost was 1000. Dollars less than Sarah's estimate. I feel violated, lied to and victimized by a woman I was trying to support. Don,t be fooled by gimmick of minority ownership, and protect your self from sophisticated scammers such as this. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Really wish I could give zero stars. I scheduled an estimate appointment a week early, they gave me the 23rd from 12-4. I purposely stayed home at that time to make sure I was here when they were coming. By 4pm I never heard from them so I called, they said they are running a little behind but will be on their way shortly. Needless to say they never showed up that day, nor did I receive a call letting me know that. I called the next day to reschedule, they told me the next availability they had was the 26th, so I took it.....Well, they never showed up again on the 26th nor did I receive a phone call. This company is ridiculous and completely unprofessional.

Before I wrote this review, I can guarantee you I know how the response from this place will go: i do not see you in our system....blah blah blah, anywho I called Jan 16 to get a quote, I was told my the person who picked up the phone that the earliest available date was Tue. Jan 23 @ 2 pm and someone would call me 30 minutes in advance to confirm, I said okay, no problem. Tuesday came, I rearranged my whole day in preparation of meeting with them, at 1:45 when I realized no one reached out I said let me call just to check, when I called Tracy picked up the phone, honestly she sounded it annoyed but I simple said someone what suppose to come out today at 2 pm to give me a quote, before I can complete my sentence she interrupted and said ""first of all we never give and exact time, your appt was set up from 11-4"" I was chocked because I specifically wrote down the time she gave me initially, then I said well that's not cool because I'd been waiting since this morning, she replied with an attitude ""why would you do that?, someone will be there by 4"". She continues on to say that I had made the mistake and someone will make it there when they're done with there other jobs, I asked who was assigned to come? She agian with and attitude said ""I don't know, someone will be there. This is the most unprofessional business ever, make a long story short Today is Jan 25, I've already signed with another company and still no one have even made an attempted to reach out to me. The only reason why I considered this company was because it's women owned, I wanted to support the ladies but honestly ladies Y'all are horrible. Furthermore plz do some additional training for the folks y'all have answering the phones, she the first person and he represents your whole company, her attitude is really crappie. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLAY BY ALL CAUSE, THEY CAN NOT EVEN SHOW UP THE FIRST TIME.

Highly, highly recommend this company. If you're looking for a roofer with honesty and integrity this is it. A Licensed Roofing company is so professional and on point with the process of a new roof.
I personally would recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof.
As a matter of fact I already have and 3 more of my neighbors are currently using them.
After the storm we knew we needed a new roof and with a three year old the thought of having a leaky roof just stressed us out. Randy and Sarah put us at ease and took the lead-and walked us through every step of the way.
Randy was on site and made us feel comfortable. The rest of the crew was amazing. They were militant in their work ethic and protected our home during the construction as if it was their own.
The crew was so clean our neighbors didn't even realize we were getting a new roof!
Our house looks beautiful!!! Home Sweet Home thanks to ""A Licensed Roofing""

I called for assistance with damages due to the Hurricane Irma. I was promised and lied too repeatedly by their staff. ""Tracy"" assured me multiple times that she would come out to my home to assess the damage. LIES....... LIES.... AND REPEATED LIES...... Unreliable company.. I was supposed to have them come out on the 5th of December... That never happened. Excuse after excuse. I called another company and they were able to come out within 48 hours to assist with our home. I will never recommend this company.

On April 25th, 2017, A licensed Roofing Company came out to my house and did repairs to my roof at 5770 SW 88th Avenue in Cooper City, Florida. I paid them $2800 to repair two active shingle roof leaks. They told me it was the ""long-term fix"" as the roof was only 12 years old and I had a lot of life left on it. I had just purchased the house and was moving in May 1st and needed to have the problem fixed asap.
Less than 4 months later, I have an active leak in the same spot that was fixed by A Licensed Roofing. I called on August 14th, 2017 and spoke to Sarah Harris and she said someone would come out to look at it two days later, on Wednesday, August 16th. I stayed home all day and no one showed up. I called the morning of Thursday August 17th and spoke to Sarah Harris, and again she said someone would be out to look at it, and no one came. I called again on the morning of Friday August 18th and someone finally came in the afternoon. They came out to look at it and verified that it was not the shingle color they used and the work was not done by their company. There is only two visible spots on the roof that have repairs/shingles replaced- one with dark shingles and one with light shingles. Notes were made and said they would be put in the file and someone would call me early the next week. I then called Randy Harris on Thursday, August 24th, 2017 after waiting a week for someone to get back to me, and explained the situation of the storm, having a small child and over the phone he confirmed that it was not his company and provided no resolution or help. He said he could have his team come out again to confirm that it wasn't them, and when my husband and I called back late morning/early afternoon on Thursday August 24th multiple times to schedule something, no one picks up the phone.
I am now forced to use a different roofing company as there is water dripping from my ceiling onto the floor and is a hazard to myself and my family. I had used this company on my house in Pembroke Pines (18330 NW 8th Street) for a garage leak as I was selling the home and wanted to fix the problem, and have referred them to multiple people. I would think the least they can do is be polite and provide customer service and help remediate the problem as I had paid thousands of dollars 4 months ago and was provided a 24 month warranty, see attached. Now they are denying that the leak is their problem.
