Cary B.This company has done work in our neighborhood so we contacted them. We have now contacted them a total of 8 times, and still have not gotten the quote they came out to do. I am 8 months pregnant and practically begged on a voicemail at the office for them to send us the quote so we can make a decision (want two comparable quotes before getting work done; not the entire roof just a portion) and get this taken care of, after my husband has spoken to and/or called them 6-7 times already after they did the quote. If it wasn't enough money for them that they didn't want to do the job, we would have at least appreciated a call back or notification of some sort. Don't expect any type of customer service if you use them.
BUYER BEWARE!!!! Wanting to support women owned propritiors , I gave a second chance to a no show/ no call business. On my (unbelievable) second scheduled estimate, another no show/ no call. Stayed home from work. Follow up from me call yielded a six o'clock arrival. One worker, not on roof ,was walking around my back area and it felt like a casing. Estimate from owner Sarah was 1700 bucks because "" you have a big problem and it will be an all day job requiring 3 workers"". She was able to readily call regarding the price and push for commitment unlike the scheduling debacle. My contractor neighbor had it fixed with one man in 3 hours of direct labor. The cost was 1000. Dollars less than Sarah's estimate. I feel violated, lied to and victimized by a woman I was trying to support. Don,t be fooled by gimmick of minority ownership, and protect your self from sophisticated scammers such as this. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Really wish I could give zero stars. I scheduled an estimate appointment a week early, they gave me the 23rd from 12-4. I purposely stayed home at that time to make sure I was here when they were coming. By 4pm I never heard from them so I called, they said they are running a little behind but will be on their way shortly. Needless to say they never showed up that day, nor did I receive a call letting me know that. I called the next day to reschedule, they told me the next availability they had was the 26th, so I took it.....Well, they never showed up again on the 26th nor did I receive a phone call. This company is ridiculous and completely unprofessional.
Joe H.Before I wrote this review, I can guarantee you I know how the response from this place will go: i do not see you in our system....blah blah blah, anywho I called Jan 16 to get a quote, I was told my the person who picked up the phone that the earliest available date was Tue. Jan 23 @ 2 pm and someone would call me 30 minutes in advance to confirm, I said okay, no problem. Tuesday came, I rearranged my whole day in preparation of meeting with them, at 1:45 when I realized no one reached out I said let me call just to check, when I called Tracy picked up the phone, honestly she sounded it annoyed but I simple said someone what suppose to come out today at 2 pm to give me a quote, before I can complete my sentence she interrupted and said ""first of all we never give and exact time, your appt was set up from 11-4"" I was chocked because I specifically wrote down the time she gave me initially, then I said well that's not cool because I'd been waiting since this morning, she replied with an attitude ""why would you do that?, someone will be there by 4"". She continues on to say that I had made the mistake and someone will make it there when they're done with there other jobs, I asked who was assigned to come? She agian with and attitude said ""I don't know, someone will be there. This is the most unprofessional business ever, make a long story short Today is Jan 25, I've already signed with another company and still no one have even made an attempted to reach out to me. The only reason why I considered this company was because it's women owned, I wanted to support the ladies but honestly ladies Y'all are horrible. Furthermore plz do some additional training for the folks y'all have answering the phones, she the first person and he represents your whole company, her attitude is really crappie. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLAY BY ALL CAUSE, THEY CAN NOT EVEN SHOW UP THE FIRST TIME.
Highly, highly recommend this company. If you're looking for a roofer with honesty and integrity this is it. A Licensed Roofing company is so professional and on point with the process of a new roof.
I personally would recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof.
As a matter of fact I already have and 3 more of my neighbors are currently using them.
After the storm we knew we needed a new roof and with a three year old the thought of having a leaky roof just stressed us out. Randy and Sarah put us at ease and took the lead-and walked us through every step of the way.
Randy was on site and made us feel comfortable. The rest of the crew was amazing. They were militant in their work ethic and protected our home during the construction as if it was their own.
The crew was so clean our neighbors didn't even realize we were getting a new roof!
Our house looks beautiful!!! Home Sweet Home thanks to ""A Licensed Roofing""
Erica S.I called for assistance with damages due to the Hurricane Irma. I was promised and lied too repeatedly by their staff. ""Tracy"" assured me multiple times that she would come out to my home to assess the damage. LIES....... LIES.... AND REPEATED LIES...... Unreliable company.. I was supposed to have them come out on the 5th of December... That never happened. Excuse after excuse. I called another company and they were able to come out within 48 hours to assist with our home. I will never recommend this company.
On April 25th, 2017, A licensed Roofing Company came out to my house and did repairs to my roof at 5770 SW 88th Avenue in Cooper City, Florida. I paid them $2800 to repair two active shingle roof leaks. They told me it was the ""long-term fix"" as the roof was only 12 years old and I had a lot of life left on it. I had just purchased the house and was moving in May 1st and needed to have the problem fixed asap.
Less than 4 months later, I have an active leak in the same spot that was fixed by A Licensed Roofing. I called on August 14th, 2017 and spoke to Sarah Harris and she said someone would come out to look at it two days later, on Wednesday, August 16th. I stayed home all day and no one showed up. I called the morning of Thursday August 17th and spoke to Sarah Harris, and again she said someone would be out to look at it, and no one came. I called again on the morning of Friday August 18th and someone finally came in the afternoon. They came out to look at it and verified that it was not the shingle color they used and the work was not done by their company. There is only two visible spots on the roof that have repairs/shingles replaced- one with dark shingles and one with light shingles. Notes were made and said they would be put in the file and someone would call me early the next week. I then called Randy Harris on Thursday, August 24th, 2017 after waiting a week for someone to get back to me, and explained the situation of the storm, having a small child and over the phone he confirmed that it was not his company and provided no resolution or help. He said he could have his team come out again to confirm that it wasn't them, and when my husband and I called back late morning/early afternoon on Thursday August 24th multiple times to schedule something, no one picks up the phone.
I am now forced to use a different roofing company as there is water dripping from my ceiling onto the floor and is a hazard to myself and my family. I had used this company on my house in Pembroke Pines (18330 NW 8th Street) for a garage leak as I was selling the home and wanted to fix the problem, and have referred them to multiple people. I would think the least they can do is be polite and provide customer service and help remediate the problem as I had paid thousands of dollars 4 months ago and was provided a 24 month warranty, see attached. Now they are denying that the leak is their problem.
Woman Power!! As a professional woman owned small business photographer myself, I understand and truly appreciate a hard working woman! I met with Sarah and her husband Randy who is extremely knowledgeable and they both deserve 5 stars!!! We moved forward on a new tile roof and it looks fab! Sarah dealt with all the city officials, my H.O.A. architectural review board and even provided all the pics for my insurance. Randy and the crew did a fantastic job installing the new roof and 3 high impact skylights. We are extremely satisfied with the roofing services received from ""The Lady Roofer"".. Thanks Sarah! ALRC were exceptional from my crisis call to the completion of the repair.
We used them in the 2013 and they once again came to the rescue with
professionalism and competence. I did call several roofers this time again
for due diligence, but they were the only roofers who came out within a
couple hours of my call. ALRC was coincidentally in my neighborhood when
I called and were willing to zip by when they were complete with another client,
but I wasn't available for a couple hours, so they returned at my convenience.
I am a doctor in the local community and have many time constraints as
does my husband.
Besides ALRC taking my call seriously and immediately attending to my crisis,
only a roof repair was recommended so a whole roof was not needed. Sometimes
companies tend to prematurely suggest additional expenses when it is not necessary.
I did have to modify my agreement before signing as the standard was a 18 month
warranty and I was told 2 years and I wanted that reflected in my paperwork.
We were extremely pleased with seeing the pictures of the damage and then pictures
of the fixed product. We worked primarily with Randy who was extremely competent
and professional. We are very satisfied with our second experience and hiring with
A Licensed Roofing Company (ALRC) and will call them first again if and when we need
more roofing services.

Chelsea A.I chose this company because my parents just used them for their roof out in Weston. They really seemed too good to be true when I first met with them and that was exactly the case. Our first meeting they were overly friendly and said they would start on our roof that week and explained the simple contract and payment plan. I had mentioned we were shopping around for different roofs and said that a previous company was going to charge us $3,000 less and asked if they can honor the same price. The owner, Randy, stated that other companies will nickel and dime you and with the quote we are getting it would include absolutely EVERYTHING. He also said ""Even if we opened your roof and everything was rotted, your quote would remain the same for extra work"". TOTAL LIES. After the first three payments were given everything seemed to be running smoothly. I get a text from the other owner, Sarah, who says "" Final payment is due today please bring it to your new house and review your final invoice online"". I told her I was confused why final payment would be due because zero tile had been laid on the roof and she said that the final payment is to pay for the tile order that they were going to lay down in a few days. I go to review my order online and I see a $1,500.00 additional fee. I wrote both owners asking what the extra charge was for and was told that we wouldn't pay a penny more then what was on the actual quote. They said "" The inspector wanted to use didn't boards up to code so it was more money in supplies and labor"". I said I would not be paying them the extra fee because nobody told us about this extra labor or charge and in their contract it states "" If extra work needs to be done the customer will be notified and reissued a new invoice that both parties will have to sign off on"". That never happened. After refusing to pay the extra fee and still brought them the remaining check that we ""owed"" which should have NEVER been given until ALL work was completed, they did not answer my calls, texts, emails for 10 days even when I threatened to take legal action! The only reason I ended up getting a call from Sarah 10 days later is because my mother called her at 9pm and caught her off guard and said she had to contact me immediately and Sarah said "" Wow, I am shocked, I haven't received anything from your daughter"". This was all BS!!!! After another week disputing with them saying we needed proof of the extra work done and reports from the inspector which they couldn't give us the tile was FINALLY put down. Once the job was mostly done I get a text message saying final payment is due. This company had been paid in full for two weeks and when I reviewed the new invoice it said we now owed $3,000.00 instead of the $1,500.00 extra I was fighting them for ! There was no explanation and when we brought over list of questions for them they could not give a straight answer. I believe that majority of their reviews are totally FAKE and just do your research before using them. When a company seems to good to be true in the beginning they probably are! They have an F on better business bureau. I honestly wanted to sue this company and am still considering it due to breach of contract and would probably be more than they $3,000 they want but i would rather pay a lawyer double that then give these scum bags anything. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
