We have flat roof which was leaking. It is usually hard to find people who work on tar and gravel flat roofs. Alex and his team come multiple times and could diagnose and fix the problem. I am happy with their service and the cost.

I have Alex to install a new roof 1.5 years ago. It leaked, and did come 1 time to fix, but it still leak. I left multiple calls, but he never return. I hope I can get hold of him. The roof leak the first 2 months. It's been 1 year. It is still not fix.

I manage about a dozen properties and have used A.L. Roofing many times. Alex Lopez has always been punctual, his work is excellent and his prices are very competitive. My experience w/AL Roofing has been completely different then those in the previous reviews..... I had several issues that needed to be addressed.... the previous owner of the house had cut a whole in the eave to allow a tree to grow thru its path.... well, many years later, the tree had grown completely around the hole and was pushing hard against the house, during wind storms, the whole house creaked from the strain.... second, I had a foam roof which was getting old and needed a recoat, and finally, I had a leak in the house and the garage that had been hard to find and fix.... Over the last few years, had several previous companies come out to look for it and it never went away.

I had several tree companies and roofers come and give estimates.... AL Roofings bid was the most reasonable and after checking on their references, I went with them to enlarge the hole for the tree (Long story), find and patch the leaks, and recoat the roof. I can safely say, after tonights heavy rain, that both our house and garage are dry ! You know how good that feels after all these years *

AL Roofing, was responsive and when I needed them to come and fix a few things, they came right away.

It is hard to do a lot of comparison because I have only had one roof replaced. I was very happy with the job AL Roofing did. The pricing was competitive and the work was done as advertised and on schedule. There were a couple of followup items that were needed after the roof was installed and these were taken care of the same day I sent an email to AL Roofing. I am very pleased with my new roof.

Although AL has good faith and looks friendly, the work is not professionally done. There are bumps on the roof, looking very ugly. Plus that the delay of the work is significant. Be carefully, it is hard to argue a less fee after the work is done and you are not satisfied with the work quality because he can file a lien on you. As a home owner, you may want to find some contractor that gives you a peace of mind.

Very friendly and efficient!

I gathered a few bids when I wanted to get my roof done, and got some taste of the slick attempts that some roofers make to get a contract. In contrast with this, Alex came across as a really nice guy. He's been in the business for decades, and delivers what he promises, at a very reasonable price too. After I'd finally made up my mind, he got the job done in three days, no mess, no fuss. (It might have been two, if the weather hadn't been fantastically hot). He fixed a few broken ceiling panels too. The building inspector was impressed.

My new roof is a near-flat roof with 3"" polyiso foam, with a 2-ply tar & gravel top coat. The difference is amazing: even on the hottest days, the ceiling is very cool to the touch. And I'm looking forward to winter now.

I had Alex Lopez's company put metal roofs on 2 homes we own in the Evergreen foothills in May of 2004. One of them started to leak during the last big storm. I called him and was told I would get a call back and he would arrange to come out and look at the problem. I got no call and now his number is disconnected. One of my friends also had a metal roof put on by this company, and it is also now leaking. Might want to get your roof somewhere else.

Alex is the person to go to if you have any roofing needs. I've seen his residential and commercial work and it's probably the best I've seen. It is really impressive. Very friendly and professional services. It's a great family owned business with awesome prices, no nickle and diming. The work is very nice and they make sure when they're finished that the job site is thoroughly cleaned. They even have 24 hour emergency services. You would not regret getting any work done with him and his crew but you would regret not giving them a try, seriously.
