George and his crew were wonderful. George is a very honest, caring and a perfectionist. We purchased a home with an unforeseen solar problem problem that caused damage to our roof, George made sure we were taken care of even if it meant coming to our home multiple times. The solar panels were removed and when it was there turn to install the roof, George sent Jose another wonderful worker. After Jose was done the solar company came back to re install the panels and again George came to make sure they didn't damage our tile roof. He has been amazing and made sure we were taken care of through the whole process

During the heavy wind and down-pouring rainstorm last month, water was pouring in through my front window! I called A& K Roofing, explained my dire dilemma, & the owner, George Padilla, immediately came out to assess the problem. He took me outside & pointed out the problem. I needed a roof extension to jut out over the front window, to prevent the rain from draining into my window frame. He immediately got his crew out, extended the roof, & installed a gutter. I was so pleased with the FAST response, the Detailed Description of the repairs that were needed and a Great price! I HIGHLY

I'm really late in writing this review as our new roof was put on about a year ago, but this was a great company to work with. The rates were reasonable for the work that was done. Our roof had 3 old layers on it and then when they took all of that off, they found that there was no base for adding a new one and had to do that work too. Our roof is now perfectly straight and pretty. We have gone through one winter and there were no leaks. The one tiny constructive criticism I had was that they use very long nails and some of those poked through the eaves. In the future you might want to just use shorter nails where the eaves are. it wasn't a big deal for us to use an oscillating tool and shave those down though. The workers were super nice and they cleaned up everything really well afterward. I would totally use them again and recommend to friends and family too.

Prior to meeting George at A & K Roofing, we had some leaks related to some improper install from some gutter filter company. But also some other issues where water was flooding into our garage every rain.

Even though George was booked for more than several weeks, he came by on a weekend to take a look and found that he could stop the leak for us with a temporary solution before even giving us a quote.

We got a quote to repair the damage caused by multiple failure points, including previously broken tiles and some bad run off design by the builder where gutters emptied onto the tile roof.

We were given a few options, both which were very reasonable. The workers who came by to do the whole job were so happy, and polite to be working that it was a joy to see them come to work on our roof.

They were able to find and fix more problems as they completed the job, and they didn't even ask for more money. We felt so good about the work, we paid extra.

Trust me... Once you find a roofer like this, you look no further!

This is my roofing company! Their support is great. Came out and cleaned my valley's, did more roof maintenance. George understands his customers, A&K roofing is fair, and responsive.

Now looking at them to replace my gutters, and some more maintenance work.

Wow! I needed ER roofing done and had been searching all day online for repeatable companies. I called A&K and explained my situation. They came out same day to give me an estimate and started repairs the next morning. The crew was polite, on-time, and tidy. The price was more than fair. I apprecitated the open communication .The crew welcomed my questions and gave me updates as the project went along. Thank you A&K, I couldn't have done it without you.

I would hire them for the jobs ,he's very honest might not be what you want to hear but he's honest and that's what I needed regardless of the money to get what I wanted. They surpassed my expectation in both quality and workmanship

A&K Roofing came and serviced my roof back in 2012, so when I decided to sell my home, I called them to check out the roof.
They were VERY prompt and I required $990.00 worth of repairs. A young gent came and worked on my roof, throwing whatever was in the gutters and valleys of the roof (two story, with clay roof) down onto the ground, hitting walls, patio, back deck, fences. Clean up was so terrible, I photographed it and sent it to the owner. He came over, with nothing to clean up his employees mess and kicked the crud onto rocks that were decorating my patio.
Took me almost two hours to clean the crud off the windows, walls, fence, patio and deck flooring. When my husband complained to the owner, he was offended that my husband was upset and told him so!
He returned to be paid and I complained - that's when he refused my check and walked off. I sent him a check and he waited a month to cash it.
The jewish people have a word for shit - it's called drek. Shame of George Padilla for not doing the right thing...correcting a wrong.
Be very careful using A&K Roofing!

A&K Roofing came out after we had an inspection done and were given one quote for repairs. Not only was there quote more than 3 times less than the first quote, they took care of additional items that the first quote didn't even include. I would recommend this company to anyone that has roofing needs, they were fantastic!
