My wife called our insurance adjuster because we had some loose shingles and to my surprise, we were able to replace the roof through our insurance company by paying a hefty deductible. They basically cut a blank check and that was given to AJ Wells. Now, I would say that AJ Wells does a decent job, but I paid the most $$ on my block according to what my other neighbors said they paid, and their roofs look just as good. After the job was completed there were some nails through the ceiling, a little scary but none hit the floor. They fixed that. We also found some random nails for the next few weeks around the perimeter of the house and in the yard. Also, there are a ton of loose nails in the attic. I noticed that when taking out some Christmas decorations.

Would I go with AJ Wells again? Maybe, but it would be highly unlikely.

Didn't leak for the 10 years I had the house after reroofing it...he's now moved on to commercial and doesn't do residential work anymore.

A.J. Wells is more than a roofing company. They are a company that really cares about its customers and goes above and beyond expectations. I originally had a new roof put on my house by them back in June of 2009. Ten years later and even outside of the expiration of my workmanship warranty, A.J. Wells took care of a repair I needed at no costs to me. My repair was not even a product of the work they previously did on the roof, but rather one caused by natural weather elements affecting the flashing. A.J. Wells went above and beyond, removing the shingles in this area, replacing 7 rafters, decking and 12-15 boards of lap siding on my home. Because my house is an older home and the wood siding for the house isn't readily available at your local Home Depot or lumber yard, the owner of the company had the wood specially milled. Yes, they had the wood siding specially made. That repair out of pocket would have costs me around 3K, but they didn't charge me one red cent and even painted all the new siding. Their professionalism, communication and workmanship are unmatched in the construction industry. When you contract with A.J. Wells, you will get a nice portfolio detailing your job, 10-year workmanship warranty, material samples, your permit copies and so much more. Their pricing is fair and competitive with any other outfit, but most of all you are guaranteed to have a piece of mind about the work being done. Most roofing companies nowadays are not even around to even honor any warranty they might say they provide. So, if you're looking for a roofing and construction company with longevity and whose work you can trust, A.J. Wells is the company I would recommend.

AJ Wells is a great company to get your roof fixed. They did great at replacing my roof! I worked with Guss and he is very professional, knowledgeable about the process, and responded to all my questions in a timely manner. He walked me through the entire process including the selection of the perfect roof for my home. All I had to worry about was my deductible, because they worked with my insurance company. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has roofing needs!

After researching local roofing companies and talking to friends, we chose A.J. Wells Roofing, and I am glad we did. A.J. Wells really was there when we needed them. Our situation was unusual, however, Arthur and his staff were there to answer our questions, assist with legal issues and installed a wonderful roof and enlisted great painters for the inside our our house. No matter the issue, Arthur always made sure it was done.

This company has been cold calling me from and unknown number and leaving messages soliciting work. It's clearly a recording as it's been the exact message left each time.They called twice in a 20 minute span before I blocked the number and looked them up.

I've since learned that they are doing the same to my neighbors.

I had my roof put on a couple years ago by this company. I was happy with the service then. I have a couple leaks in my roof that occured during Irma LAST YEAR. When I called they sent someone right out to look at it. He took responsibility for the leaks and said it was the way it was put on. I have call and spoken with the office several times since and no one has come to fix the roof yet. It is March! I have referred several people to this company and am very disappointed in the service I am currently getting.

Absolutely great company to do business with! I thought the process of finding a good reputable roofing company was going to be painful and stressful...but it was NOT!! A.J Wells made the process so easy! Everyone from the ladies in the office, to the guys that delivered the materials, to the guy who delivered the dumpster and the guys who completed the roof, were all so professional and courteous! A.J explained the process from start to finish and Guss explained throughly the materials used. The crew cleaned up very throughly afterwards! I never found one nail in my driveway or walkway! Trustworthy, honest and they truly care about their customers! Highly recommend this company!!!
