This man would not provide state contractor license to me his roofing bid was ridiculously high, please consider doing your homework when it comes to a good roofing contractor.

This is one of best referrals I can give. Having used this company a number of times, I would give more stars if possible.
The most recent was a skylight that blew off the house.
It was fixed perfectly with a better product in a few days which also included a trip to the manufacturer in Riverside to get it fixed prior to raining.

A friend recommended this company to me. And I am so glad they did. After getting many various and overly expensive quotes. Abraham came by, gave me a much better quote and went over everything that they would do and what materials they would be using. And let me know before hand what the costs would be for the wood replacement and only replaced what they needed too, vs adding on extra. Abraham and his guys are wonderful. They took care of everything, and I felt confident that I was getting the best work done on my roof so that I don't have to worry about it for 30years. And I didn't need to be home to watch them work. They also finished pretty fast and every day left the jobsite clean. I definitely recommend A & J General Roofing to anyone who needs to repair or replace their roof.

Abraham and team with A&J Roofing completed our new roof in late December 2020. I checked for recommendations on Nextdoor and Yelp then received several quotes at the beginning of November and my husband met w/ all the roofers. The quotes were all similar in price and roofers very professional but ultimately we went with Abraham because he took time w/ my husband, explaining what would need to be done, what products he would be using, basically how the whole process would work including timing. I checked online and his license and insurance was current. After confirming the quote and contract w/ him it took a few weeks to get started as he was completing other jobs. I felt this time frame was reasonable, other roofers also said they were booked 1-2 months out. Once started, the roof took 7 business days to completion. The first several days were spent scraping the old layers off (we had 3 layers including the original from 1947). Abraham's crew was very tidy, we didn't find pieces of roof all over the yard as others have complained of. In fact, my neighbor noted how tidy they were saying she just watched the roof behind her house being done and workers were scraping pieces off directly to the ground below. They also took care w/ our landscaping making sure nothing was damaged. The city inspector came twice as scheduled, met w/ Abraham and approved the work (after roof scraped and at completion). Abraham gave my husband a daily update as the project progressed, he was good about keeping us informed, noting the few wood repairs that needed to be done and taking husband on roof twice to show the two things that added to quote cost (3rd layer removal and bit of wood repair). Two days after roof was finished we had our first big storm of the winter and pleased to say no leaks! It has rained hard twice since (including hail!) and still no leaks. Note, this work was done during the COVID-19 pandemic and Abraham and crew wore masks the entire time which I appreciated. I highly recommend Abraham and A&J Roofing. He and his team were honest, friendly and professional, the whole process was very smooth, price was fair, Abraham was transparent regarding timing and any extra costs due to unforeseen repairs. 5+ stars all the way!

I cannot say enough great things about this company. As honest as the day is long. They don't try to up sell at all. They diagnose an issue, give you a more than honest price, are clean, hardworking and professional. No slacking with these guys.

For two years we had a leak in our window. Multiple people came, told us what was wrong and purported to fix it. Except nothing did.

Until we called Abraham. I would trust this guy no questions after our experience.

If you have an issue with your roof or a leak, call this company! Get other bids. They will only reinforce how honest and professional this company is.

I will recommend them to anyone.

If you are in need of roofing, roof repair or have a leak, you are throwing money away by not contacting these guys...and also throwing away both professionalism and experience.

Go with someone else at your own peril...we did...until we found this amazingly honest and hardworking company.

They just finished our roof and we are very pleased. The owner Abraham Rincon is very knowledgeable of the roofing products and codes. The roofers worked on a schedule and stuck to that schedule. They cleaned up daily around the house. We needed some repairs and he addressed them and did a great job repairing.

Abraham was efficient and professional to the highest degree. They started work promptly and worked diligently. His price was fair and honest. He gave good advice when it came to options and choices. The city inspector was thrilled with the work and spoke of it in superlatives. After the inspection sign off and after I had paid him and was completely satisfied, Abraham pointed out to me a little misalignment in some metal stripping, probably due to house settlement or sagging. It seemed trivial to me, but he's a perfectionist. He said he himself would come back on his own time and fix it. And he did! I am glad to have hired such an honest and capable roofer.

Just finished roofing our house with A & J General Roofing. We are thrilled with their work! Before we ever worked with him, Abraham took me around to see the work he'd done for previous clients. I was able to meet and ask questions of his most recent client, and photograph their finished roof to show my husband. Once we'd started our re-roofing with A & J, Abraham and his crew showed up by 8:00 each morning, worked until the sun set, pulled all the permits and took pride in doing an excellent job. They also put new vents in our garage without charging us, and it looks fantastic. He returned for the inspector's visit, did all the followup and paperwork and his final price for the job was exactly the amount estimated. The only difference was in the unforeseen cost of some of our boards that had rotted over the past twenty years (as old wood will do)--and was only $150 difference. THEN, Abraham came back to say he'd made a mistake and overcharged us! We've already asked him and his crew to come back next year, to work on another project on our home. Our neighbors are complimenting us on how our new roof looks, and we will enthusiastically recommend A & J General Roofing to anyone that's looking for a great roofer and an honest, reliable contractor!
