I made an appointment with this company and they never showed, or bothered to call.. I reached out by email and also called. Finally, they returned the call to say they double booked and wanted me to reschedule another appointment.
I let it go and gave them the chance.
3 days later, a Voicemail was left stating that they got a big corporate account and need to cancel appointment with me!
An ethical business would first acknowledge their error, in this case no apologies other than excuses for not even showing up.. I arranged my entire day around their schedule. Also, dropping a job because a bigger and better job comes along also shows complete lack of respect for others.

Joe, Isaac, and Harry. What can I say, these guys took on a job that was previously botched by ""contractors"" and did a fantastic job. From a custom opening from my kitchen to the living room, sanding/painting cabinets, drywall repair, and tile installation. They did it all with an attention to detail which I appreciated. Would recommend these guys for sure.

Forewarning in this review, Gene is the master at arguing and treating people like dirt. he will probably respond here in some sort of a tacky way pushing everything back on the customer. Because that's his style of customer service.

So this company is a nightmare. First, the forgot what time they were supposed to come to my house for a quote. secind, they forgot to send me the quote and I had to reach back out to them for it. Third, they sent me an estimate and then tried to charge me something else. when I questioned this, they said they did the math wrong. But no one bothered to tell me this before asking for more money. So I agreed to pay it and go with their days just to have an email refunding me claiming since I post bad reviews on yelp (isn't that what yelp is for?) and I wanted to argue over price they don't think I'll ever be happy.

Sorry excuse of a company.

Our HOA Real Manage hired A Frame Home Services. I have not been more impressed with the work that was completed on my home. Alex and his crew were kind, thoughtful & clean, and did a great job fixing a leak and the walls that were damaged. I would use this group for all of my home needs. They were on time and came back to finish the work when they said.

WOW what a great find. You won't be disappointed.

Gene and his team at A Frame are first rate! I have used their services regularly. Most recently, I used them to help with repairs on a home that I was getting ready to sell, and they delivered with both quality and expedience.
I was able to get my home on the market, and without a large dent to my wallet. I would (without a doubt) recommend A Frame for Austin area home contractor services.

To all potential clients of this company. I am writing an update to my review now that Gene has responded.

To be crystal clear about this - Gene, the proprietor of this company, lied, many many times to us. He was going to buy us the bluetooth lock and install it next Tuesday! Send him the roomba model we want so that he can go buy it for us! Etc. etc., all the way until the end when he surprised us with a new fabricated bill that was the exact same amount as our ""rebate"" we were going to get.

Note as well, he doesn't dispute that he messed up our fence and then didn't fix it. He also can't dispute that we have two huge leaks in our 15 month old ceiling, courtesy of Gene and his crew.

Yet I am a ""bully"" for posting this information 15 months after last having to deal with him. How does that even make sense? Yes, my 15 months after the fact ""vendetta""(LOL!) to persecute poor Gene continues, oh the humanity!!

Read how Gene responds to bad reviews. Something if off about this guy. There's obviously a bunch of good reviews for this company, amazingly, but be very very careful to document his promises. And by document, either record what he is telling you, or get EVERYTHING in writing that he is promising. Buyer Beware!!

Now then, onto my next vendetta!!!

Pretty perfect. Quick quote with options and a good price. When they came to estimate the quote, the guy even fixed a broken faucet for free, and was really nice about everything. He gave me like a million tips for other projects as well, from painting to gardening. Super nice guy.

I trusted them with my home, and when the project turned out to be a bit bigger than expected, the team took it very well and got it done on schedule.

I will absolutely be working with A Frame again in the future.

We'd been thinking we would have to replace the fence sometime soon when Mother Nature decided that 'soon' was actually 'now.' With our neighbors being the cool kids they are, we weren't pushed for time. We got some bids, waited for dry weather, and, when we were finally in the same country at the same time, moved forward with the best bid: A Frame Home Services.

Gene was great. He worked with me and my lumberjack through some contract changes, accommodated my neighbors' want of an extended fence and gate, and got his crew in and out in less than 2 days. There were no surprise price increases and removal of the old fence was included. He's got other services like room venting and tree trimming, which brought my neighbor untold amounts of joy.

The day the work was done I went to the yard to admire his crew's handiwork. Also to admire the chickens. My neighbors' chickens. The ones running around my yard aimlessly looking for a coop that I didn't have. My neighbor and his son came by to throw them back to their side of the new fence, and then we spent an hour chasing the last stubborn one around the bamboo in the back. I have a mosquito bite on my forehead to prove it. This beats all other fence stories.
