This business used to be great-until new ownership took over. Hire a different company for reliable, trustworthy service. I had some work done prior to it being sold. No problems at all with them. When I needed some follow up work done-which the previous owners knew was a possibility. It fell on deaf ears. I emailed and talked to Jessi and Brandon. I made it very clear how important this work was needed in order to have my house with a new addition fully insured prior to the peak of the hurricane season. I sent emails 7/14, 7/20, 7/27, 8/1, 8/15 with the only response from the 7/14 email-stating my needs would be addressed.
My attempts at any phone calls went unanswered-except the first call, 7/11. Then I left messages about the sense of urgency needed on-7/14 (2), 7/25, 8/1 (3), 8/3, 8/4, 8/8.
The message I left on the morning of 8/3 actually received a return call. I thought great this will get taken care or now. Nope. I wasn't empathetic listening to Brandon talk about all of his follow up needed with his new business he purchased. He knew I needed TPO work done as soon as possible. I made that very clear. He said he would get a hold of his TPO team and get back to me. Which never happened. Mind you this is early August with hurricane season fast approaching and work not scheduled to be done yet. After more messages left, I had no choice but to hire a different company.
Fortunately I had somebody responsible and organized enough to get me on the schedule and get this issue corrected. Now, Brandon could claim that this TPO roof with a huge wrinkle on it was at fault of myself and my building contractor. Either way whether or not it was follow up for him to do at his cost or follow up to do at my cost he was not interested whatsoever in doing what an equitable company would do and that is to take care of their customers. To top it off, now he claims that I voided my warranty with him because I had no other choice but to hire a company to do follow up work that he was completely unresponsive to doing. So I guess he can just dust his hands off and be clear of this prior customer to his newly acquired company.
A little background about myself. When I find a good company I am very loyal. I don't set unrealistic expectations. I expect the basic needs being met when called. I will expect return phone calls. No customer should feel the need to be constantly following up with messages that fell on deaf ears.

A.C.E.S. Roofing did an amazing job replacing out roof. They saved us almost $700.00 on our homeowners insurance by suggesting hurricane CLIPS.
They were prompt and very professional. I would recommend them every time!

I left work early to make a 230pm appointment at my home with someone coming to give me an estimate. When the roofer came my elderly mother-in-law answered and said that she would have to get me. She pointed out that my car was here and it would just be a moment. He was very rude and abruptly left by the time I got the door two minutes later.
I cannot recommend this company to ANYONE. Find someone else to see your roofing needs.

I have been trying to finish a quote with A.C.E.'s Roofing since end of FEBRUARY. They provided a roof quote (for shingles) for me end of January. When the initial quote was being done I let them know I would also like pricing on metal. They said no problem, just call the office & they'll work it. Feb 14th I called & asked for a quote on metal. A day or two later I received a call from Susan asking what kind of metal I would like & she provided me with a website to go to for my selection. I immediately did as asked & provided her with my selection. I also asked if she would like my email address so she could email my quote when it was ready but she said ""no"", that when/if she needed it she would call me. Feb 19th I called to check on the status of the quote & I was told they were still waiting on the metal supplier to get back to them. Fast forward to March 26th, I had been out of the country for three weeks & assumed during that time I would have received a call that my quote was ready, I did not, not a single call from anyone at A.C.E during that time. So I called to follow up again, I was told they still had not heard from the metal company but they would follow up & get the quote done asap. I asked again if they would like my email address & this time she took it. March 28th I called again to follow-up, Susan was again super nice & apologetic & said that she would stay on top of it. I also asked her about Hurricane straps, if she was able to tell me how many they thought I would need. She said she would find out & that she personally would call me back if not by end of day at the latest first am the following morning. March 30th, I once again had to call to follow up, once again Susan was super apologetic, saying she was really going to ""push"" to get my quote done. At this point I even asked Susan if I was doing something wrong. Was there something more she needed from me to get this done? I told her I felt like an idiot for being so persistent but I was ready to hire them, I just needed the metal price to make the decision on which roof to go with. Again, Susan promised she would stay on top of the woman that was handling the quote until it got done. Well today is April 12th & I've still not heard a peep from A.C.E. I would assume anyone reading this review would by now be thinking that I am the idiot for pursuing this for so long. You would be right. I have finally surrendered & come to the realization that my little bit of business was just not worth it to them. Even sadder is they were recommended to me by a friend who not only has used them but was their top reference to others. That has changed as well. My point to all of this is...RUN! If this is how you're treated when trying to give them business, I can only imagine how you're treated once they actually have your business.

I was referred to this roofer by my home inspector. Yesterday morning (04/25) I called for a quote and an abrupt individual (Becky) said they would put it on the books for after 2 PM the same day and email me the quote later that day. I was not emailed the quote nor did I receive any other form of communication. This morning I called to find out what the status was. The phone was answered by the same individual as yesterday. The rude employee let me know I would get the quote when she sends it. I asked for an eta and was told that the eta is when she has time to get around to it and he told he ""I told you yesterday you won't get the quote until tomorrow morning"". That is simply not true. She said that just by me calling her day has changed and can delay the quote. She said a truck breaking down or another phone call could also delay the quote. I asked her to have Chris Stenders call me, he is the owner and the individual the inspector told me to speak with. The rude employee told he its unlikely Chris will call me back because he doesn't usually talk to people... Horrible customer service if you ask me.
I have emailed the company with a request for Chris to call me.
I will update this review with the final outcome.

Hi Mark,
This is Elissa, I called you as soon as I read your email and then I followed up with Becky (who is a woman, not a man as you referred to her as) and with Chris. Chris was actually standing right there when you called and he didn't think she was being rude at all, simply explaining to you the procedure.
When we schedule an any appointment it is at Chris' convenience to fit it into his estimating schedule for the date the office advises and typically by the end of the next business day you will receive your proposal (provided it's not a Friday), not generally within an hour of our office opening the next business day. Unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way and due to circumstances out of Chris' control he doesn't always make it to the ""any"" appointments - that is why they are ""any"" appointments. If a customer is anxious and wants an estimate sooner, then they are advised to make a timed appointment to meet with Chris at the property.
We have many glowing reviews and customers that can attest to the level of service our company provides. I went on yelp after our conversation as well and I saw a very nice review from just last week, so thank you for bringing it to my attention. I apologize for the way you perceived the conversation. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the complete situation when I called you and I'm unable to provide the estimate at this time under the time constraint you seem to have put on us.

Per our conversation this morning at 9:39, you said you would send me the quote in 20 minutes. Your email indicates ""and I'm unable to provide the estimate at this time under the time constraint you seem to have put on us."" Based on this I can only assume Chris never went to the house to do the quote.
You indicate in the second paragraph it is unreasonable to expect a quote within an hour of the business opening. I was told yesterday by Becky that I would receive the quote yesterday evening; no quote was received.
Based on the other negative Yelp review where the customer says Chris said ""we don't fix shit for free"" so I am not surprised Chris didn't think Becky was rude. Why would I make that up?!
I am very disappointed with the service I have been provided and encourage the Home Inspector to no longer recommend your company.

Aces Roofing is a family owned business, licensed in Florida. My experience originated when our church hired them to repair their roof. I also got a good recommendation from our church administrator, who personally used Aces on their roof. Because Chris, the owner does all the estimates, the prices are lower than most but not their quality. I had my roof completely stripped, rotten wood replaced and shingled in less than day and a half. The workers are all polite and they are all highly skilled in the jobs assigned to them. The crew chief was awesome, advising me all along the way. He also saved me money by advising me my gutters didn't need to be replaced. If you need a roof replaced or repaired, I can highly recommend Aces from my own experience.
