It had been raining hard last week (first week of February 2015). Just wanted to update you on the work Jon and Billy did on my roof. NO MORE LEAKS!!!

During one of the first hard rains of the season we found a leak in our roof - water was coming in and the drywall was separating at the seam in our dining room. Ugh.... I called two roofing companies. The first one had a recording telling me they were too busy and were taking no more calls. Then I read the yelp reviews and found this company, A Better Roofing Company. They went to my house that very day, located the problem, and fixed it. I was so grateful! We just had a major storm, yesterday, with more than 5 inches of rain and my roof did not leak. Success. Jon and his office person were both very helpful on the phone, returned calls promptly, and did a great job. Thank you!!!

After a few estimates from other companies, Jon at A Better Roofing Company came out on top and best of all he truly knows how to run his business! They are on time, on schedule and most of all no hidden fees or price hikes. What the estimate says is what you will be getting! Very easy to work with and he was able to squeeze me into his tight timeline when my roof was leaking. They also do gutters so for all your roofing needs go with Jon and A better Roofing Company! They truly are better!

They replaced the roof on my mother's house at 1/3 the cost of another estimate. This included replacing the gutters and replacing some extensive areas of dry rot. Very pleasant and professional. I had to wait a couple of months after signing the contract because they are very busy but once they started the job they were in and out in a very few days and were a pleasure to deal with.

I could not be more pleased. Jon is a real craftsman. His crew was great. Fast, friendly, efficient, and they left my property nicer than they found it, which is more than I can say for the painting and stucco contractors I have used. Outstanding value, and great service. As happens on construction projects, we did have an issue, but we addressed it and Jon was very fair in dealing with it. No one can fairly promise a perfect job, so please take the foregoing as a sign not that Jon is imperfect, but that he's a fair, decent businessman. He deserves your business. Take that to the bank. And did I mention his price was WAY better than the 2 other bids I solicited? It was! Just call ABRC already, OK? :-)

Our gutters were recently replaced by Jon. He offered a great product at a competitive price and our gutters look great! He and his assistant were professional and they cleaned up so well when they left, it looked as if no one had been there. I like to support small, local businesses and I would recommend this one.

We found A Better Roofing company from Yelp and just had my new roof completed by Jon and his crew, Kevin, today.

From the beginning, the staff in office who answered our calls is courteous and responsive, which gave us a good feeling in dealing w/ them.

But, what make Jon's bid won over our business is how he presents his works, references, and the details in the bid proposal. Besides, his price is reasonable and competitive among the other bids that we received.

Jon and Kevin are very professional, courteous, and finish a job w/ high quality. We have many items on our roof including an awning, which is not what we imaged initially. Jon and us discussed the options and come up a decision that we are happy with, which is one of Jon focus as well. Too make his customers happy.

During the job, I proposed an addition and Jon did it since he also think that it is a good preventive measure even w/ a bit cost on his end.

At the time installing gutter screen, Jon is not satisfied w/ one section of the new gutter, which is replaced to meet his standard.

We are very pleased that our new roof finished in time and within the initial estimate budget and would definitely recommend Jon to our friends for roof related works.

We have an 11 year old roof we have never had inspected. I asked this company to come and check it out. Jon came within 48 hours and declared the roof sound, but found some pesky small things (that could become large things) he suggested we might want to take care of--missing shingles, caulking, metal plate reinforcement of some gaps, new gutter guards. He gave me a detailed, reasonable bid and was able to complete the work within the next 48 hours. He and his two helpers were efficient and neat in their work. Very professional operation. First rate.

Jon and his team were professional, courteous, and they came and did everything on time as scheduled at the price we were quoted. They cleaned up daily and we couldn't be happier with our new roof. Jon answered all our questions and communication was great from the estimate to the completed roof.

I left a message first thing in the morning because my roof started leaking the night before. I didn't hear from them until late afternoon and when it didn't sound like it was going to be a big job he said he's way too busy to help.

I don't buy the other reviews. To me he was just an arrogant jerk.
