I got a quote from Steve for and new roof and gutters. I was very impressed with his knowledge and price. His crew arrived very promptly each day and did a great job. When the city inspector examined the finished job he said it was a great job. To me the job was great but to here it from an city inspector made me feel great. I would highly recommend this company for any work. Their employees and workmanship is the best.

I was client supervisor for the re-roofing of a large, pitched roof on a church in San Mateo. There were above-average challenges involved, including: age of the building (100+ years), steepness of the roof, complex sheet metal requirements, sensitivity of neighbors, coordination with on-site activities, etc. A&B Roofing exceeded my expectations in all areas. Their team, from top down, was professional, courteous and accommodating of our needs. If problems arose, they addressed them right away. And they got it done on time. The entire congregation is pleased with the results.

The roof looks great but there were a few things that were sloppy. Nails through a ceiling wheee there is no attic and sloppy work around the chimney. Nice people but not watching what's got on

John did an awesome job on my 5,000 square foot roof (on a 96 year old house). The job became much more complicated than expected due to uncovering prior bad flashing work that had resulted in a lot of dry rot inside walls and around two chimneys. John and his crew worked around all the other unexpected work that had to be done (stucco removal, stud replacement, etc) and still got the job done quickly. While a few very small issues arose during the work, John was quick to take responsibility and make everything right. When my mom needs a new roof in her Mountain View house next year, I am going to ask John to do it too. Thanks!

I had a couple problem area's on my tile roof and I needed to have my old garage roof taken off and a new one installed. John and his crew were very professional, friendly, hard working, on time and completed the work when promised. I will always use A & B Roofing and will refer them to everyone I know. Wet spots in the bed are always a pain especially when they are caused by a leaking roof, such things happen after three years of drought followed by massive storms. That was the first time that prompted me to ask my contractor neighbor whom I should hire to repair my roof. He recommended A&B Roofing, and they delivered.

I had to wait a couple of weeks (very common), but we got a quote, picked our shingles and they installed it quickly. The invoice met the price and they were very good at getting all of the county inspections done.

The second time I hired them was because of the quality of the first time. Luckily in this case we didn't have an emergency situation, it was just that we bought a new house and the one thing needed was a replaced roof. I didn't need to check other bids, I knew they would do a good job.

I would note that an entire roof is expensive, you may be surprised on your quote. They will also do repair jobs if that is possible and requested.
