As in every business you can't make everyone happy. This is a construction and roofing business in this kind of business you will run into issues no matter what. The flip houses that are on yelp review were not totally done by this construction company. When people flip houses in the low $100's they hire all kinds contractors at the lowest price possible to get the job done. Affordable Home Solutions warranties all of their work so if you purchased a home they worked on you would have a warranty for the work they completed. The plumbing, electrical, A/C are all done by outside contractors not Affordable Home Solutions so to put blame on the roofing contractor for plumbing issues is just outlandish. As for roof repairs they are hit or miss it's like finding a needle in a haystack sometimes the first time repair doesn't work that is why you get a warranty cover any damages caused by the leak for up to one year. The office is under new management and this business has an A+ rating with the BBB. You can make them all happy but they will try their hardest to.

I hired Affordable Home Solutions to rehab a property of mine. Every thing was completed on time and within budget. I was able to sell this property within 2 weeks of listing it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking quality work at fair prices.

I recently bought a house that was refurbished by this company. The house looks great; but nothing works. This place totally sucks. Literally every plumbing fixture leaks. Toilet, bathroom sink, kitchen sink, hot water heater, washer drain, shower knob. This house is unlivable. I wish I could give zero stars. I hope this review cost this dude money; because he is going to cost me a ton of money. Totally ruined the fun of moving into my first home. Once I get the estimate from someone that knows what they're doing I'll post it up here so you can add that to the cost of a potential house you want to buy.

This has been by farr the single worst experience I've ever had regarding any home maintenance or repair services. Having served with the US Army for the last 19 years, I have lived in every type of houseing there is (barracks, townhomes, condos, apartments) and I have never had an experience quiet like this one. Owner Mike Darcy will lure you in with competetive rates and a guarantee that ""you don't pay until it rains and you see that I fixed the problem"". Trust me folks, the guarantee is not worth it.

He initially came to the house in September, looked around and gave me an estimate, giving me his ""guarantee"" and telling me he could do the work in a couple of hours the next day. So he did. The next time it rained, it leaked again. This is where the ""fun"" starts. Getting him to answer the phone or return phone calls or even text messages is a challenge unto itself. Getting him to show up when he says he will is even more difficult. Stood me up twice last week, then finally had some guys show up on Friday, over 2 hours late, and supposedly took care of the problem. That didn't work either. This week he stood me up on Monday, although this ONE time he did text me 35 minutes after the appointed time lettting me know that he was tied up and would not be able to make it. Then said that he would be home on Tuesday at 5. He never showed up. He never called.

Perhaps I should have fired him after the first time it leaked from his ""fix"", but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. That was my mistake. Do yourself a favor a learn from my experience. Do not hire.
