We specialize in installing new roofs, shingles, seamless metal, tile, slate, and built-up systems. Our offerings include metal roofing, solar panel setups, and custom shingles.

My great-grandfather Willie Darrow and his brother started as slaters before branching into wood shingles. The business was later taken over by my grandfather Mitchel Lay and then my father Jeffrey Lay, and now it’s passed down to me and my three siblings, all of whom have sons in the trade.

As a fifth-generation roofer, I have committed myself to serving the community since my father urged me to leave school in eighth grade. I was running crews before I could drive; I mastered speed sheets and roofing at a young age. Driven by a desire for excellence and customer satisfaction, I received my GED in 2000. Not long after, I attended Brunswick Community College for business economics and enrolled in the AAA Construction School for roofing and waterproofing. I aspired to excel beyond my predecessors, achieving a master's in business and accumulating over 100 certifications. I have also had the privilege of working on some of the most iconic structures across the nation. I’ve worked in Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, and South Carolina, but Georgia is my home, and roofing is my vocation.
