We specialize in installing new roofs, shingles, seamless metal, tile, slate, and built-up systems. Our offerings include metal roofing, solar panel setups, and custom shingles.

Founded by my great-grandfather Willie Darrow and his brother, who were skilled slaters, they transitioned to wood shingles. The business was later taken over by my grandfather Mitchel Lay and then my father Jeffrey Lay, and now it’s passed down to me and my three siblings, all of whom have sons in the trade.

Being a fifth-generation roofer, I have been devoted to public service since my father suggested I stop attending school in the eighth grade. I was running crews before I could drive; I mastered speed sheets and roofing at a young age. Fueled by determination and a focus on customer satisfaction, I obtained my GED in 2000. Soon after, I enrolled at Brunswick Community College for business economics and joined the AAA Construction School for roofing and waterproofing. I aspired to excel beyond my predecessors, achieving a master's in business and accumulating over 100 certifications. I’ve had the honor of contributing to some of the most recognizable buildings in the country. My work has taken me to Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, and South Carolina, but Georgia remains my home and roofing is my passion.
