I had A-1 come and replace my roof, the job was done fast and I have no leaks! The crew was nice and got the work done fast! The owner was very polite and answered every question I had. I would recommend this company to my friends and family anytime!!

We own a small cabin on a private lake in Conroe, TX that is a weekend home. The weekend before Memorial Day we came to visit and noticed a leak in the roof. We contacted this company on Saturday morning, 5/21. They came on the following Monday, 5/23, to look at the damage and give an estimate. Charlie, the project manager, was very polite and gave me an estimate. He said it would take less than a day to repair and that we would not have any further problems. But, if we did, to call and they would come be here to take care of it. The crew of 2 came on Wednesday, 5/25.
The rains came and the leak was worse!!! It ruined my ceiling and the wall. The ""new"" shingles were torn and faded, just like what was up there. I called the company on 5/27 and talked to ""the other Charlie"", who turned out to be the owner. He told me that it was a holiday weekend and no one could come until the following Tuesday, 5/31. The leak got worse and I called again on 5/28 and talked to the owner again. He was rude and unconcerned about my situation and again told me they could not come until the Tuesday after the holiday weekend.
On Tuesday, 5/31, the owner, Charlie, and his crew of one came to look at the roof. I stood on a ladder and watched them work. The owner was rude and when I would ask a question or make a statement, he would walk away or ignore me and not respond. They finished the work and told me it was fixed.
The rain came again and the leak was no better. I called the company again on Wednesday 6/1. Charlie, the owner, told me they would be back out when the rain stopped. On Friday, 6/3, Charlie, the owner, called and asked me what the problem was and again was told that they would come when the rain stopped.
On Monday, 6/6, I called the office again. This time I spoke to Charlie, the project manager that gave me the estimate. He told me I was a priority and that I was on the list for work.
On Tuesday, 6/7, I called again and spoke with Charlie, the project manager, who told me they were gong to take care of me.
On Wednesday, 6/8, Charlie the owner called me. He wanted to know the problem and he wanted more money. When I said no, he got angry. He told me he didn't want to fight and again asked for more money. When I said no again, he said that they would not be able to get to me until the following week. I told him if he didn't have a crew at my house that day or the following day 6/9, then on Friday, 6/10 I would go to small claims court and fill a suit against him and his company. He told me that I could not tell him what to do. I told him I was telling him what I was going to do. He then hung up on me.
He showed up on Thursday morning 6/9 with the original 2 workers. The roof was repaired that day the way it should have been repaired the first time. If they had repaired it the way it should have been repaired and the way that I paid for it to be repaired his company would still be a legitimate enterprise. But, for me, this company has lost all credibility.
They price gouged and did not do the work that I paid for. The owner of the company was rude and disrespectful and did not repair my roof the proper way until I threatened a law suit. Even then, he treated me disrespectfully and was rude at every interaction I had with him.
I will never use this company again and would highly recommend that if you are thinking about using them, that you should run as fast as you can in the other direction!
